(actually most of the hoops we have to jump through seem a bit OTT to me!) I have just submitted our plans to the Development Review Committee (DRC). We have had to supply samples and colours of all finishes, 5 Copies of complete plans, 5 pool plans, 3 copies of detailed garden plans, pergola plans - and thats just for starters - later we will have to supply engineers reports on the pool filter and a/c unit among other things. All this and also a cheque for $2700. I am pleased that there are some rules as to what can be built and what colour or material it is as this protects everyone. But is this level of detail and expense normal or "the standard practice" in these kinds of estates? Does anyone want to share their experiences or tips with this?
