Hi Greg, was reminded of your build the other day as we have another Binet house being built near us and they are around the stage of you last pics.
It would be great to hear how your house is progressing, cheers

Like your tile selections too! Lex, I think the windows that you're talking about are in the garage where it will only be single skin (ie one layer brick only with no stud wall) these windows can't have reveals as they'll stick out. Your reveals will be staying. Tiles are Ceramic so not terribly expensive. They are still at the top of our allowance though;) Mrs Rose is right, those are windows in the single-skinned garage wall. I can feel roof tiles in the very near future;) Builder is saying kitchen goes in sometime in March, but I think they are behind a couple weeks. Have not received invoice for brickwork to roof level yet. They are out of face bricks and they mainly still need to do the ground floor window sills, and not much more. I also see another brick delivery soon:) Greg Re: Building in Ryde area/Sydney - Brickwork mostly done, Roof! 113Feb 19, 2010 10:13 am Oh, thanks gp and Mrs Rose, I didn't realise it was so in garages. Our garage window is definitely the same as all others, ie. has the timber reveals or whatever those (fairly thin) timber boards are called. BTW, does your garage have weep holes at the bottom (of the external walls)? And will the internal side of those walls be plastered or bare brick? So, these tiles are ceramic: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ - they look so real (like real stone tiles)!!!! Can you tell me where did you get them and what's their official name? We were going for a travertine look without the price. They don't look as real in person as they do in the photo, but they are quite nice. The place where we go the tile is: Tile Gallery Imports Unit 2/185 Briens Road Northmead Tel: 9933 0888 This is Binet's standard place. I don't remember what the name of the tile is, but I'm getting a sample pack in the next week or two. I am in the same situation, would you be able to give some insights in to this?
