Big difference, awesome kitchen. Makes you feel like spending time in that room again. Well done. Happy 2010 To Everyone !! Still crazy about my new kitchen, link removed by my request The bathroom is next on the list, coming soon !!! Re: Kitchen photos 15Dec 07, 2009 10:59 am livingsimply Thanks for your replies! Yes, i'm definitely enjoying the 'transformation' (but am really looking forward to fridge/freezer going in!!!) Kek - the entire interior of the house will be painted hog bristle half strength next week, so that will make an almighty HUGE difference to the house. The curtains will definitely be going eventually, i've just got to decide on something that will suit and practical. Mango - I'm itching to get the floors re-sanded!! But that will be the last job - although i've booked him in for the week before christmas, so it's all happening! I'm VERY new to this renovation stuff, so the only thing for splashbacks which i've really liked so far are glass splashback tiles (300mm x 100mm size). Otherwise a full piece of glass has to be sent to Hobart to be toughened, etc! (joys of living in a small town, ). If anyone has any suggestions, i'd be really happy to hear about them! I'm thinking of a dark brown colour, as there is so much cream (esp with the walls painted hog's!), i'll need to break it up, and since my tiles are almost an exact match to the benchtops - it makes sense! Thanks for the encouragement, Cheers one small area of concern is the holes for the dishwasher in the side of the cabinet ,at that level they will impede the dishwasher to fully sit inside the enclosure ,holes should be drilled through kick board level and then drilled through base of cabinet to connect to water Re: Kitchen photos 16Dec 07, 2009 11:58 am Huge improvement - well done!! Building 'The Kingston' (with 'Boston' elevation) through Blueprint Homes in Hocking, Perth **PCI complete 06.02.10** My Thread - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=17607 No. It's not original. Circa early to mid 90s would be my guess and maybe even as late as early 2000s 1 7236 2 6342 that will depend on the kitchen bench depth. you'll have to specify it so it allows for both the tap and the sink 1 7916 |
