We didn't know what to do with the windows, ended up taking the suggestion of our colour consultant in the end - very happy that we did though. Also again one of the displays at Williams Landing has those windows. Just went to the site and it seems that there was no work done for 3 days now. (see my blog for the details). Not unless they can make a miracle in digging the trenches and laying out the pods, I don't think it will happen tomorrow. Will have to call my CLE to check what is going on. MyHomeoneThread Our Oxford22 Blog Re: Draco's Oxford22 35Mar 25, 2010 2:47 pm Congratulations on the slab pour!! I can't comment on the tech details of the slab. I wouldn't know what's good and what isn't. Someone else should be able to comment for ya. Good to see it poured though. Bring on the frame Life is; then you tell yourself a story. Re: Draco's Oxford22 36Mar 25, 2010 11:14 pm Draco76 - I am not sure but I think the first pic with the foam at the bottom of the concrete could be a loose piece or scrap of foam which was in the ground of the formwork and when they poured the concrete the force pushed this scrap foam out. Not sure if it will be serious but when they pull the foam out it could leave a hole there as there is no concrete, but I think it's fixable. Your second concern about the top of slab, have you touch it to see whether it is foam or concrete? Anyway, take some good photo's eg clear close up of it for documentation. Call and advise your site supervisor about this, then make a site meeting with him/her. If you don't have your SS contact number then send an email to your CSA with the photo attached saying urgent attention. Make sure you demand an engineer to have a look at it. If you get no co-operation find out who your building surveyor is (normally the detail will be on your building permit) and use the net to find out their contact detail and then talk to them about your concerns. I did this when I had deep concern with the integrity of my slab, I contacted my building surveyor directly with my concern, and a couple of days later he sent his building inspector out to check the slab. I was told by the building inspector that they will get an engineer in to take a look and make sure the slab is structurally sound. Whether this has been done or not I'm not sure. I'm still waiting for the engineer approval report. Re: Draco's Oxford22 37Mar 26, 2010 9:32 am Hi Draco, Great to see a corner block build! May I just ask how big your block is?
