Day one of our build and we get a surprise that we have to get rid of 400 tons of soil. I want to get rid of it the cheapest possible way. My house is being built in Western Sydney. Anyone have any suggestions? It's aggrevating that the builder did not make you aware of this prior to contract. I would say $15 isn't too bad as cartage is the big cost and it's not a massive amount.
