I know you have to sign a building contract before sep 30 2009. I am in stage 11 thanks Re: Alamanda Estate - Owners Forum 148Aug 13, 2009 4:00 pm number29 hi all, to qualify for first the full $32,000 homebuyers grant, does the land have to be titled before december? I know you have to sign a building contract before sep 30 2009. I am in stage 11 thanks From my understanding the construction has to commence within 6 months from the building contract. So as long as you have the slab started within that time frame you should be right. Anyone else wish to clarify? Building Charleton 283 with Henley. Re: Alamanda Estate - Owners Forum 150Aug 13, 2009 11:04 pm Just wanted to say hi to the other stage 8ers. We are building in stage 8A, so close to a few of you there! Just out of curiosity, how much space do you need to have a lap pool down the side of your house? I think that would be awesome!
Re: Alamanda Estate - Owners Forum 151Aug 14, 2009 11:08 am We have approx. 5m to the side of our house (our plot is 18 x 34) which should be more than enough (apparently) to fit a decent width lap pool in, at a length of around 15 meters. But after some deliberation with Mrs Vzbux, we might scrap the idea and shove a big spa pool behind the garage and cover it with a sail shade instead, giving us shade from the house, the garage, next doors house, and the shade, significantly cheaper and a better use of our land. Re: Alamanda Estate - Owners Forum 152Aug 14, 2009 6:56 pm Hi Jem and welcome, we have only 3.5 mtrs to play with and are planning on having a lap pool 2mtr x 11mtrs long. You'll find that most of the houses built in this area have H class slabs and possible P class (H class with piers) which means the slab is actually deeper than a standard M class and so you can build the pool closer to the house given the angle of repose. jem Just wanted to say hi to the other stage 8ers. Re: Alamanda Estate - Owners Forum 153Aug 19, 2009 9:05 pm Hi all, Just signed up for a block in 12b, Grandpark Circuit. Have lived in Lincoln Heath for last 3 years, and remember when Alamanda was farmland, so have seen it develop from scratch. The estate looks fantastic and should be great to live in. The parks look sensational too. We are heading down the path of building a H3nl3y Voyag3r, so this should be interesting, and its our first build too. You are making me jealous with all the talk about a pool, but your ideas sound great. There is a fibre optic info session at Club Alamanda on Wed 26 Aug, maybe I will see a couple of you there. See you round, Dave. * Building the H3nl3y S0H0 in Point Cook - Land settled 11 Dec 09 - Site start 5 Mar - Slab 26 Mar - Frame 20 Apr - Build thread https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=22763 Re: Alamanda Estate - Owners Forum 155Aug 24, 2009 9:17 pm Stage 13 was released on the weekend. Re: Alamanda Estate - Owners Forum 158Aug 27, 2009 10:08 pm amyife anyone know about smart wiring package (carlisle home)? If I have my smart wiring installed,do I still need extra instalation fee for optical fibre ? If you go with Carlisle's standard package you only need to have the connection activated, which includes installation by Techlife of the ONT and power supply on the wall of your garage. It is about $600 I believe. Re: Alamanda Estate - Owners Forum 159Aug 28, 2009 9:33 am Zerosignal amyife anyone know about smart wiring package (carlisle home)?
