Hey guys,

The PCI went really well. Our SS is a champ. He had already been through and stuck post-its all over the walls for us. We added a heap here and there. Nothing really major to fix up inside; just a few paint and plaster issues. The alfresco concrete needs to be redone as there is a huge crack down the centre. The external feature lights need to be added and the front door needs another coat of paint. All in all we are happy with the situation but here's the best bit..........................................HANDOVER IS BOOKED FOR THE 7th of JULY! :z:

This is particularly great for us as it is the second week of the school holidays, giving us the first week to finish packing and the second week to move in.

Thanks MM. Oven goes in on the day of handover. Apparently there is a rist ok certain people stealing the oven if it is put in earlier. We will get the keys at around 2pm after they have connected the oven and hot water system etc.

FB, sooooo glad that the school holidays coincided with our move. Takes the pressure off! Hope you are enjoying your well-earned break. Term two is a real bugger with reports and parent teacher interviews.

Hey guys. Have spent the last few days madly trying to organise everything. THANK GAWD for the school holidays! We still have to buy towel racks etc, but the list is gradually getting more and more ticks on it. We went out and splurged on a new fridge, washing machine and dish-washer the other day! Woo hoo!
We also paid off the final amount for our couch and dining table, which will be delivered on the day of handover. I organised an aerial to go in before the move too and the SS was all good with it. Phew! 6 more sleeps to go....not that I am sleeping much!
