Building commences... - We're in!!! ...and LOVING IT!!!!

Hehehe. Yeah, report writing time mate. Havent really been able to get to the block before dark these last few weeks. We are pretty stoked with the tiles and paint. They show up really dark in the photos.

It has been really good to read everyone's blog and know that there are a heap of us getting close to moving in.

Went to the block today and noticed that the painterhad done most of the outside, so he should be finished very soon. The sparkies had come through and (finally) cut the holes ready for the electrical fit off. All going well, we should have most of the fit-offs finished by this Friday.

On a separate note, gf and I are meeting the blinds person on site tomorrow, so I will be able to get some more pics for you all then. All tiles have been finished and grouted and (I reckon) look quite nice.

Nah not as yet mate. The SS is really straying from committment on these two aspects of the build. While I can understand it, it would be REALLY REALLY REALLY nice to know when we should be planning for.

Plugs plugs, switches and plugs!!! Electrical fit offs happened today and should be finished tomorrow!
The plumber has finished off too! Awesome! Carpet is due to go in early next week and we 'should' be having our pre-handover inspection by the end of next week!!! WOO HOO!!! ALMOST THERE!!!

I got so excited over the dimmer switch and powerpoints!!








Oh! And I christened the toilet. Yes! Crazy I know, but I just had to! (Hope you are not reading this while you eat dinner....)

Hahaha WBA. Didn't drop the kids at the pool, but definitely made a splash.
