I also haven't lived out of home but have been buying the little stuff for a while now so have that stored away (thank goodness for Boxing Day/Mid Year sales hehe). So far I've got on layby a couch, entertainment unit, washing machine, dryer have have the dining suite and coffee table arriving next week (thanks parents for the storage room hehe). Still have to work out which damn TV to get, but will wait for the mid-year sales now I think. Great idea about the cleaning products etc. I should go get some of that stuff very soon and also the pantry staples like flour, sugar etc I guess. Seems like a trip to Aldi is on the cards My current thought provoker is whether to buy the gorgeous leather, 3 seater HT suite I saw yesterday. It's quite reduced in price but I was holding off buying for the HT because I probably can't afford to set it up for a little while. Also I'd prefer a 4 seater but can always add a couple of separate recliners and beanbags for extra seating I guess Why did I have to sit on the beautiful couch, WHY!!! I did some number crunching, about $10,000 worth of furniture+cookware+dinnerware etc. I'm $7,000 short at the moment.
