How much did u pay for the decking? We left it to do ourselves as we thought it would be cheaper to get it done through someone private. The only real hassle that we have found so far has been the lack of communication between them and us. The construction side seems to be going along quite quickly. After 5 weeks, they have finished the frame and guttering and are now tiling the roof. wow all that in 5weeks, yes the communication is an issue Re: M3etricons Lindeman 23 35May 05, 2009 9:41 pm moody eclpse Hi Moody, We are currently building the Hayman through M out it Laurimar. Yeah, the decking was expensive with M buty I wanted to roll it into the mortgage hence M did it. It was: 3840mm x 4570mm area. 90mm x 19mm merbau decking with treated pine supports $4,300.00 Yeah, M have been ok. Off and on. I cant ring my Project Site Manager directly but I can email a CSC rep and tell them to tell my Project Site Manager things. It delays the process a bit but they have acted on everything I have asked. Which has been good. Hey moody... i am building the Soho in Craigieburn... do you have any suggestions ? also i got my electrical appointment this week lets see how it goes. do you have any pics ? Edit: removed TOO Re: M3etricons Lindeman 23 36May 05, 2009 9:53 pm vivica7604 Ryan Oliver Woo hoo! Thats great news mate! When is the appointment for studio M? What have you decided to upgrade? I have got many ideas from your thread Ryan upgade heater to 4 star, contemp fasade, colourbon roof, door from garage into house near front entance, tiled shower bases, ensuite upgrade, spa in bathroom, horizonal windows in living areaX2, double doors from retreat to kitchen area, timber slide doors to outdoor room,1 metre added in garage other wise would have had dead space on side, horizontal window in my daughters room to allow more room to postion here bed, but all are not for sure until I sign on the dotted line. My appt is on the 27 May @9.30 on the other side of the earth lol. I have enjoyed your pics and have got may ideas from it, keep the coming and the house looks great. How long did it take for them to build? Glad we have helped you mate! Sounds like your house will look awesome! I like the tiled shower base and spa idea! Should come up a treat! Dont forget your electricals mate! The standard electrical plan was pretty basic and we spent a lot upgrading various things. From scrape to this stage has taken just over 3 months. Things have really slowed down this last month, but that is quite normal at this stage apparently. Bet you cant wait til the 27th! (day after my b'day ) Looking forward to hearing all about your appointment! Hey moody... i am building the Soho too in Craigieburn... do you have any suggestions ? also i got my electrical appointment this week lets see how it goes. do you have any pics ? Hey mate Soho too? It's a great house. Electrical (I'll scan the plan we had soon): - We put 32 down lights throughout the house; - About 6 double external outdoor power points; - About 15 extra double power points (including 1 on top shelf of ensuite vanity for radio); - About 3 quadruple power points; - 5 External flood lights; - 4 low level lights (about 20cm from the floor) in the hall way; - Plus other stuf. I'll scan those plans soon. House changes: - We put a sliding door from main bed room to ensuite. - We put 2 sliding doors between the family room and hall way to the other bed rooms. - A wooden door and bricks in the laundry (instead of glass sliding) due to a doggie door to be put in. - Wooden external windows on bed room. - Plus we changed some windows, lights etc. Re: M3etricons Lindeman 23 38May 06, 2009 5:12 pm One thing I am havings done is putting a natural gas line to the alfresco room for my bbq. This will save me swapping bottles and running out of gas right in the middle of cooking! haha That cost me $591. Also my mate is building the Linderman 27 and has put double sliding timber doors from the family to the alfresco room. These look really nice..
