Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Westminster Homes - The official thread 143Apr 30, 2009 5:11 pm feejay doca was voted in and the directors have 21days 2 sign off on it, but they said they would be sign sometime next week barry was made 2 put up 1milion of his money which no matter how thngs go he doesnt get back. then they will recommence with in about 3weeks to amonth would b my guess. it was always oing 2 have this out come regardless as the company had been pulling proxy votes and had the majority say...lets see how thngs go frm here..... Thanks everyone for you feedback. Great news - I would be interested to know which creditors voted no ? Feejay, do you think we will have to wait 3 weeks to a month before anything happens ? Re: Westminster Homes - The official thread 144Apr 30, 2009 8:03 pm Hi Marlton i dont see them being able to start any time sooner then about 3weeks this wasnt said at the meeting what was said was that the directors have 2 sign off on the doca and then they would start 2 get in contact with employees who arent currently with the company and let them no that their ready for them 2 come back then they'd b in contact with the contractors 2 book them back 2 sites when they are next available... so yeah i'd say some might come sooner then others but most works will probably start in about 3-4 weeks..but your guess is as good as mine.. Re: Westminster Homes - The official thread 146May 07, 2009 8:12 am i rang and spoke with maureen and she told me that the pappers were probably going to be signed wednesday (as in yesterday) then theyd start forward from there. she waiting for me to email with all the works we need rectified so i dont think ill hear from her until then. So if anyone hears or sees any movement out there please let all of us on here know.. Re: Westminster Homes - The official thread 147May 07, 2009 12:47 pm I spoke with my site manager on Tuesday and he said he predicts works will start again on my site next Monday. He said he needs to wait until this agreement is signed and he is given the go ahead by head office, then he will call his tradies and start booking them back in straight away. - Assuming he still has a job - which has not been confirmed to him as yet - Poor guy ! Re: Westminster Homes - The official thread 148May 11, 2009 10:09 am Hi all, I spoke to Maureen today ( she rang me back five minutes after I left a message) and she told me they have not signed the agreement yet ??? They were told it would be done last week and some people are still waiting to be re-instated (7 weeks without pay ) She also said they have 21 days to sign the deed but is hoping that they will do it sooner. She has taken my number and will give me a call as soon as she knows something. If you want her to call you ring her and leave your phone number with her. I will post as soon as I hear anything. T. Re: Westminster Homes - The official thread 154May 14, 2009 4:23 pm Maureen is really helpful, and seems happy to answer questions. Ring her and see. She told me that the staff were returning to work Wednesday and we could expect to see workers on site sometime next week. That would be true for all of us I think. Re: Westminster Homes - The official thread 155May 14, 2009 6:46 pm how do u put the pics on??? and i recieved and email from the admin 2day and thought it worth shareing the sad news on the footnote i have simply cut and pasted I note that the companies’ founder and Managing Director, Mr Ron Thurecht, sadly passed away on the morning of 13 May 2009. A funeral service is being held tomorrow, 15 May 2009. All Westminster staff will be in attendance at the funeral and the directors respectfully request that, where possible, stakeholders do not contact the Westminster office tomorrow but wait until all staff return to work on Monday, 18 May 2009. May we take this opportunity to thank you for your patience during the Voluntary Administration period. Re: Westminster Homes - The official thread 159May 18, 2009 8:35 pm I called my ss today. He said it will be maybe a couple more weeks til they get back to my house. Apparently because the trades are busy on other jobs. They will come when they can. This is so unfair. We have waited long enough. I want my house. (foot stomp) Is this normal or am I a doormat? I feel miserable.
