Browse Forums Landscape & Garden Design Re: Plant suggestions 25Apr 15, 2009 8:09 am Yvette, I don't think he meant it in a critical way....and I wasn't offended either. Anyway, these neighbours are not gardeners - they went for the simplest design possible with their own front garden and don't have much interest in doing anything other than mowing the lawn and keeping it tidy...which is fine. At least they mow and weed, unlike some of the other neighbours... ![]() I just thought that maybe I've overdone the plant variety. I tried hard to resist the temptation to get one of everything ![]() ![]() Anyway, I stood back and looked at it yesterday and I think it's fine. We'll wait and see how it grows...like I said, I can always change it. ![]() Re: Plant suggestions 26Apr 15, 2009 10:16 pm No! No! You haven't over done it ![]() You will have the best garden in the street! Re: Plant suggestions 27Apr 16, 2009 4:48 pm ![]() You will have the best garden in the street! ![]() Mind you, there isn't much competition. Four houses still under construction, two haven't done their gardens yet, and the others so far have gone for the *yawn* central lawn edged with garden beds. The one across the road sadly didn't survive the heat wave....hope they replace the dead plants soon, it looks awful. ![]() The house next door has had the phone cable laid and the site cleaned this week, so we're hoping handover is very close. I want to finish the bed on the boundary before winter strikes - give the plants a chance to get established before the frosts begin. 0 5097 ![]() Hi, Looking to add an ensuite to one of the bedrooms and make it a Master BR.
