I would remove these high windows above the beds, I don't think you gotta get much use of them, anyway. But it is very important to consider longer eaves over NW as well as Low E double glazing for those big windows and definitely some shading (e.g. blinds/rollers/shades) when not in use. Otherwise, you gonna have very hot bedrooms during summer months almost guaranteed.
