Bedroom Windows questions

Bedroom Windows questions: Please help me to decide the plan:
1) Will the bedrooms require 2 windows? (if only one is enough, which one i can remove from this image)
2) Is it possible to see the backyard thru windows (W15 & W16) facing northwest or Alfresco roof will hide the visibility?
3) what will be decent size bedroom window (H 1M X W 1.8M) or H 1M X W2.4M ?
4) what will be the good window position? 1.5M above from floor level (Floor height is 2.7) ?
5) What type of window is best for bedrooms - Sliding or Awning ?

3 minimum 10% of floor area, either size would be nice
4 0.9 above floor, align tops of all windows with tops of doors if possible
5 awning windows, sliding are usually aluminium, sliding cannot leave a little open if raining

After removing both two windows from NW, then there are no windows in wall facing backyard. Is it looking awkward. below is the image of the wall with no windows from backyard.

Personally, considering your layout (study/work desks in bedrooms), I don't think you have any other option but to leave NW windows and make them as big as possible e.g. 2.4x1.5 at 0.9 m for 2.7 m ceilings will be perfect.

I would remove these high windows above the beds, I don't think you gotta get much use of them, anyway.

But it is very important to consider longer eaves over NW as well as Low E double glazing for those big windows and definitely some shading (e.g. blinds/rollers/shades) when not in use.

Otherwise, you gonna have very hot bedrooms during summer months almost guaranteed.

As for your backyard, I think you still will be able to see it, especially if you will be allowed to play around with the pitch of your alfresco roof.
