Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Apr 18, 2023 10:10 am Hi Sorry about the silly question; we are first-home buyers looking to buy our first property and learning a lot. One property we are interested in has a lot of external wall cracks outside (double brick), and the current owner seems to have done a lot of self-patching (?) We spoke with two builders; one builder said it is all good and nothing urgent since there is no internal cracking it is nothing urgent the outside brick is just a facade as the interior brick is holding all the weight (?) Another builder said we should consider doing brick rendering/ join and resolve it sooner than later. We are planning to repaint the external brick in the futre and thinking of fixing it then (3-5 years). Or is this something we should get fixed ASAP?
