Longtime no post but I've experienced mail theft in my street Monday night/Tuesday morning.

My mailbox appears to have been forced open.

Spoke to some of the builders at the new Sedgefield Park, tjhey say another 2 months to completion.

No word from the council when the bridges will be completed but it is always the next financial year!

Has anyone heard anything about the shopping centre?

An update in the foot bridges.

Thank you for your enquiry and we apologise for the length of time responding to you request.

Council advises that this enquiry been discussed with various departments responsible for the project to construct the three footbridges in the Allura Estate in Truganina.

We have been advised that the project did not receive funding last year and has been resubmitted for funding as part of the 2020/21 capital works budget, which is subject to approval by Council. If this is developed it is most likely to be spread of a number of years such as design and permits followed up with construction at a date yet to be fixed.

You will be advised accordingly when this project is developed in the future.

I’m pleased to confirm Council has adopted this project as part of the 2021/22 Capital works budget.

Council is currently in the planning phase of this project with a view to tender for its design and construction in late 2021. Please be aware, this project will be conducted over a 12-24 month period after liaising with external parties.
