Browse Forums Renovation + Home Improvement 1 Nov 15, 2020 4:28 pm Hi all we are planning on a rear extension approx 9.5 x 7.5m deep consisting of an open plan kitchen dine living. We are trying to work out if our budget of 1800 per sqm will be sufficient or am I dreaming? Not looking for super high end finishes but more mid-range. The home is a 1978 brick home which will also ho through an uplift. We also don't want to over capitalize hence why keeping budget at around 150 max I'm aware of the lack of trades at due to all the home builder Grant's so aiming to start build 2022 so getting quotes now may be a bit of waste of time... Re: Adelaide- rear extension budget 2Jul 15, 2021 4:48 am I built a similar size extension open living area with Adelaide Home Improvements for similar price (150k fixed price) in 2016. A few notable features was a cantilever roof going up to 3.4m on one side. Will be looking at doing something like that again for our new house - interesting to see how much things have gone up since.
