Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Apr 06, 2020 10:59 pm Hi guys, New to DIY, bought my first home about 3 months ago and doing a lot of the renovations myself, I'm seeing light at the end of the tunnel now as far as finishing up and finally buying some furniture for the place. Its been a great experience. Tonight however I ran into an issue I hadn't thought about at all, and that is mounting the tv to a wall with a pocket door. I'm currently trying to figure out if I'll need to remove the door itself before the flooring guys come to install the laminate flooring as well as when I paint it. But my problem is if its a smart idea to mount a tv to this wall? I'm certain it will be a larger tv (70 inch +) as the couch will be a good 14 feet away on the other wall. (Where i took the picture) I havent found any info regarding this at all on youtube or in general, thought I'd ask here if anyone has experienced this. Attached picture, any information would be greatly appreciated! Couldn't find the trimmer - not sure if there isn't one simply because the eave is so narrow. Went ahead with the spring toggles and it all worked out… 7 6419 920 was enough to get the furniture in. We live in a pretty safe area and it’s great to see people walking to the front door. We’re not too fussed about people… 4 3666 Thank you again Simeon.. I will call my certifier for that.
