I have been asked to refrain from further engagement and will respect this request. My best wishes for your builds, and satisfaction from this forum thread. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 15327Nov 24, 2019 6:09 am M4bath @Stukip - your signature shows slab down in March, 2019. Are you nearly at handover? Not yet. Ground floor tiling done last week. Final coat inside paint due next week with mirrors and shower screens. Expecting handover end January as have pool and other landscaping to do with Wisdom but date not yet confirmed. Just wanting an indication on time frames as we will be pushed to next year for slab for sure. How was everyone elses timeframes between DA approval and slab? Thanks! Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 15329Nov 24, 2019 6:37 am Ambassador36 4-5 months for me.KDRB will take longer to get to slab. You would need to be in production estimates by now in order to get a slab this year unfortunately Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 15330Nov 24, 2019 6:38 am Ambassador36 Stukip M4bath Stukip - your signature shows slab down in March, 2019. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 15332Nov 24, 2019 7:25 am Stukip Yeah we have to go DA approval due to rear balcony and also the water tank... checking status of our approval each morning has become an obsession. I find it's not the admin though that is slowing us down its the estimate team! I asked to add bath niches nearly 4 weeks ago and I have nothing back yet 😑. Di Lorenzo was fine, its actually the estimate team to add 2 450mm by 900mm niches that is taking 4 weeks, ridiculous. So grateful for our fantastic canvas quarter lady though or i would have lost my mind already. I just hope it runs a little quicker going forward! WH is also doing my landscaping. End of January expected but not confirmed. Manhattan54, you should be getting close to PCI now? My other half was checking every hour 😂 We also went DA bcos of our rear balcony (not by choice). Our CQ appointment was the last working week before Xmas. Imagine the wait over the end of year shut down. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 15335Nov 24, 2019 2:23 pm My build looks like it is close to complete, but my supervisor won't give me any estimates other than quoting when I am contracted to (which is well after when it should be finished). The final coat of paint and last bit of carpentry work will be completed this week. Only major work left after that is the main floor tiling and carpeting. The week after Wisdom will install the pool (8.5m x 3m fiberglass). Even if they can't finish by Christmas, it's not too much to expect them to finish soon after right? Hi Funk52, few of us are in similar situation. WH don’t want to commit to an estimated handover time. My SS only told me recently it might be end of January/ first week February. There is a 3 weeks close down which will slow every down in the new year I guess.
