Anything wrong with the toilet flusher u need to hack the wall to access it. I have 2 boxes of spare tiles, but maybe I should keep 4, just in case. As mentioned above, you can change the float and valve from the button panels. Reason I went for Reece brand compared to a no name toilet is they should keep.spare parts for a long time. Worst comes to worst, you could access 2 of the 4 toilets from behind rather than tile in front. shokel1975 JB1 shokel1975 We have returned from Fiji and walked through the build today as no trades on site. Lots has happened while we were away, the most exciting being the scaffolding is down and we can see the true exterior with all render now done and painted. Downpipes are installed and fixing has been done with skirts, architraves and doors installed – although some of the doors need to be realigned as hubby works in industry and won’t put up with anything less than perfect! Kitchen island has had the cupboards redone in the correct colour and cut outs have been done for downlights and exhaust fans. There are a few small things that need to be rectified and we will bring that up at our next walk-through in the coming weeks once SS is back from leave. Your photo popped on on tapatalk's main page. I have similar timber translucent doors for my bathrooms. Regarding your internal doors, are you planning on staining your timber doors? I'm debating if I should stain my a darker colour. If your doors are anything like mine, I suggest you change your hinges to solid ball bearing hinges as the glass doors are heavy. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Hi JB1, yes Metricon will be staining ours in Black Japan. Thanks for the heads up re the hinges. My hubby installs fire doors so he will definitely know if this is needed. I will get him to look at it after handover. Cheers! It's not needed but it will swing more freely. Butt hinges wear out over time as the metal rubs against each other, more so on a heay door. What brand door is it and the thickness of tje glass? Sticker looks like Corinthian. Did you have much pushback or concern from people with a translucent bathroom door? My friends thought I was crazy. shokel1975 MyFirst Nice toilet. But I reckon u need to keep some spare tiles. Anything wrong with the toilet flusher u need to hack the wall to access it. We will be having a concealed cistern toilet in the powder room just like this pic. The staff at Reece confirmed to us that any repairs required would just be within the box behind the flush plate. I hope this is the case as we will have tiled walls also. Did you also purchase from Reece or order via the Builder? Re: Building a Metricon Glendale 42 Limited Edition in Melbo 375Jul 07, 2019 9:45 am Yes I think doors are Corinthian, not sure without checking our files. We are still building so not sure what people will say about using these on powder room! Haha! We ordered through Metricon after visiting Reece to make our selections. We upgraded every vanity, tap, bath, toilet, etc Re: Building a Metricon Glendale 42 Limited Edition in Melbo 376Jul 07, 2019 10:05 am those doors are LIN1 hume doors ( I have a few also) link below https://www.humedoors.com.au/ranges/internal/52-joinery-internal/348-lin1 Re: Building a Metricon Glendale 42 Limited Edition in Melbo 377Jul 07, 2019 10:09 am stanus those doors are LIN1 hume doors ( I have a few also) link below https://www.humedoors.com.au/ranges/internal/52-joinery-internal/348-lin1 Oh yes you are right, thanks stanus, they are Hume. Re: Building a Metricon Glendale 42 Limited Edition in Melbo 379Jul 07, 2019 2:35 pm Shokel, I noted downpipes aren't connected. Make sure its connected asap. Hmmm I'm debating if I should stain my doors. I'm worried it will be too dark against my blackbutt flooring. Once you stain there's no going back. At this stage I'm looking to leave it natural with satin waterbased enamel. Other issue with staining is my staircases have lots of screening so I would need to match it too. Doulton777 I didn't want it too dark. Re: Building a Metricon Glendale 42 Limited Edition in Melbo 380Jul 07, 2019 3:12 pm JB1 Shokel, I noted downpipes aren't connected.
