Is there any water damage in between the floors. How do they pass this from a quality and testing perspective I have no idea. The entire bathroom need to be ripped out to do it properly... I've asked for waterproofing certificates. I know they don't get them issued, because they don't waterproof to the Australian standard, so that shall be interesting Our Bayside KDR Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78298 Re: Building Bayside : Our Glendale 45 571Jul 06, 2019 9:36 am Hi Drew, did you end up getting M to fix the height of your Butlers pantry overheads? Ours have been built the same – slightly higher in the pantry than the kitchen. Did they give you any reason why they are built like this? This was 14 years ago when we built the Windsor with them. They wouldn’t seal the tiles. It wasn’t mandatory at that stage. But we offered to pay extra considering we have 4 en-suite and didn’t want to take the chance like what happened to you. Well they wouldn’t. Then when we had toilets that blocked and a bath that was over flown. Well it went right through to our theatre. Wrecked the whole plaster. Plus in the lounge where my daughters bedroom was that’s where the toilet got blanched. Now we have to replace the whole ceiling in that house. That’s why I said I will never ever build with porter Davis again. viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: Building Bayside : Our Glendale 45 579Jul 06, 2019 8:47 pm Drew01 excited_builders Oh no that is awful, how will they fix it ? Very surprised especially water proofing certificate is not worth the paper it's printed on IMO. In Victoria any person doing the waterproofing can issue one. He doesn't need any qualifications or certifications. Ie. If tomorrow I decide to be a waterproofer I can. But I guess with larger companies they have to back up the certificate?
