Honestly we have not discuss about surface/storm water drainage with ownit if it is underground or surface. We are not too much worry about either way. We renting home for couple of years and on the last property underground pipe get broken, It is costly to fix. Hopefully it don't bite us later on. We have gone to colour selection. On Wednesday we have last meeting finalise colour selection Re: custom Build ownit home ownithomes.com.au quote, upgra 13Sep 15, 2018 7:48 am Hope all is settled for you with selection. We are building on the Southside and will be going to colour selection next week. Cross fingers all will fall into place smoothly and no unexpected big surprises. Who do they use for cabinetry maker? Did they allow for two colours cabinetry for kitchen or would that be extra cost? Re: custom Build ownit home ownithomes.com.au quote, upgra 14Sep 17, 2018 9:41 pm HI chanam ,Mostly things sorted out I will post the detail later on . They use kitchen gallery Salisbury . their reviews are quite good . they mostly don't arrange the meeting with them unless you have custom requirements like we do. Yes they allow 2 colour in cabinetry . Hopefully you have received the design selection pack now. Look the polytec catalog page https://www.polytec.com.au/brochures/po ... panels.pdf Page 10 , 11 and 12 excluding MELAMINE Metallic Leaf range are standard . Best of luck with colour selection . It is bit rocky road be patience . Everything will be worked out Re: custom Build ownit home ownithomes.com.au quote, upgra 15Sep 18, 2018 12:39 pm nafeesra HI chanam ,Mostly things sorted out I will post the detail later on . Too many choices...uhhh!🙃 Re: custom Build ownit home ownithomes.com.au quote, upgra 17Sep 24, 2018 9:05 pm nafeesra HI @chanam Do you like any ownit home display follow their colours. We like some display home which is not belong to ownit we are following their colour selection and they are not ownit home standard inclusion Did not follow builder's colour and did our own thing. We are trying not to deviate from the standard, but have already done so with upgrades etc. Yikes! Doing it a little different with the kitchen and gone with colour "ceniza" smartstone for the benchtop. Like yourself, we have selected "Natural Oak" melamine Re: custom Build ownit home ownithomes.com.au quote, upgra 18Sep 25, 2018 4:56 am 😣 ownit charges $130 extra for having obscure translucent glass 6 panelled glass front entry hume savoy door (2300x1200) instead of clear glass. When the actual difference in door cost is minimal ($24..bunnings price) whether having clear or translucent-frosted. Re: custom Build ownit home ownithomes.com.au quote, upgra 19Sep 25, 2018 10:24 am chanam welcome to my world. Each builder has profit margin between 20% to 100% . Only pick the things you are required or can't be change after handover or you not bother doing afterwards. In my point of view their is no reason to fight for few hundred dollars. This is most difficult part for us colour selection our variation is around 30K still few things pending like HSTP cost . Once I sign the colour selection document . I will post the detail Re: custom Build ownit home ownithomes.com.au quote, upgra 20Sep 25, 2018 4:23 pm Thought you'd be completed and signed off on colour selection already. As long as they do a good job, we'd be happy. I'm sure we will be looking at additional costs after we go for tiles selection and electrical plan. Your home sounds like it will be big and beautiful. Look forward to hearing your experience. Do you mind if I ask what is HSTP? Soak wells and electrical run in happening this week! Summit has told me they will relocate the laundry plumbing after the walls are completed. I'm actually pretty happy… 13 36877 Having just completed our first/only build and we spent so much money on insulation and double glazing upgrades - do not skimp on insulation including upgrade to anticon… 1 2452 I'd get the gutters to match your roof and pipes to match the paint - otherwise they become a feature. Nice pick with the paint colours! 1 35089 |
