Usually around 2-3 weeks after PCI, but it all depends on any defects picked up plus getting OC paper work through, but the rough guide is 2-3 weeks Re: Building with Metricon 7485Jul 14, 2018 11:38 am Last week's update...they have completed the bricks, removed the scaffolding n put it again for the render...stairs are complete and the electrician came in and did all the Led cut outs, power points etc....they also sanded the slab, and filled in waterproofing for the wet area floors. Now a Cat6 cable does for almost everything. We are planning our next build and started with the idea of cables to "everywhere". Have really stripped back to a concept where 2 ceiling mounted wi-fi access points will provide house-wide coverage. Additionally a couple of hard wired points in the study for the computers + a Cat6 cable to where the solar power system instrumentation is + a couple of Cat6 cables to where the major TVs will live + a couple of Cat6s for phones. . All cables going back to the NBN entry area. But what do I know! Re: Building with Metricon 7488Jul 15, 2018 11:24 am I've spent way too many years of my working life running cabling, and in our build, I've had outlets run for each TV location, and for our Enphase Envoy connectivity. The rest of the house will be connected via WiFi using the NetGear ORBI system, which gives me a hardwired backhaul and 1 outlet per device, with the WiFi covering the remainder of the house Our Bayside KDR Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78298 Re: Building with Metricon 7489Jul 17, 2018 8:22 am good morning! i just need some advice on bank's build valuation. Our build valuation came out yesterday and it was short of our contract price. I expected them to come up short based from what I have read but this is way too short. The bank's reason is they have no basis of comparison in our area. anyone else experienced this? how did you proceed? we are currently dealing directly with the bank as my husband works for a bank. should we go for the land loan with our current bank and get a broker for our build? appreciate your help. thanks! Have you started your build? Our bank bases the loan on the contract price. We have unofficial pre approval for the amount we expect our contract to be (hoping it will be a touch under that amount when we get our contact this week). Once we get the contract we just have to give that to the bank to get the official approval. Maybe ask the bank what they need? Re: Building with Metricon 7494Jul 17, 2018 9:34 am Lot4503 yup.. we are going to meet with our banker today and see how. i just wanted to check in this forum as well maybe others have had the same experience. thank you! Good luck! Hopefully they can’t question the contract price too much. It is an official doc showing the cost to build (and hopefully the value) of the house. Re: Building with Metricon 7495Jul 17, 2018 10:00 am Hi all, Our construction period of 45 weeks (incl. Christmas shutdown) is about to end next week but haven't heard from site manager regarding PCI yet. Infact all appliances have already been installed, I thought this is the last step before handover. has anyone experienced this? We haven't from the SM in the last weeks. We were wondering if there is anyway to escalate to senior management? Where do we get the contact details from? Thanks Re: Building with Metricon 7496Jul 17, 2018 10:31 am SkB Hi all, Our construction period of 45 weeks (incl. Still another rangehood and oven to install. My PCI is on Friday. I wonder if maybe you have the same SM cause he’s been on leave and only comes back this week. Re: Building with Metricon 7498Jul 17, 2018 5:46 pm What is Enphase envoy connectivity? The prep wiring is basically a 240v rated data cable from the switch board where the Envoy is installed to where the internet router goes... I could use WiFi for it, but I'd rather hard wire it Our Bayside KDR Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78298 Hi, First of all, thank you to this community for sharing your thoughts and opinions.
