Outdoor tiling now done. Not expecting that.
Looks great, grout lines match up all the way round and there is even a little metal trim around the edge to stop the tiles getting chipped.

They look a bit grey in the photo but they are actually the same colour as the indoor ones. I think once the outside walls are painted Linseed, the tiles will look a bit more ivory.

Painters have started as well.
Should really bring out the colour of the tiles once its painted.

So worth talking to the tiler. The metal trim around the edge is a really nice finish too.
I will get some better photos once everything is clean and you can actually see through the windows.

I don't recall seeing metal trims before outdoors (but I havn't been looking at outdoor tiles in displays - haven't gotten that far ahead for us yet) but it seems like a great idea, like you said - less chipping

we have our wet areas getting started today but we don't have a garage door haha

It is definitely getting to the exciting stage. Hubby wants me to try and stay away for a week so I get some surprises. LOL!!

haha! i can tell you that leaving a week in between visits makes it appear like heaps more work has been done.

Although, you won't have too much left, ah it's so exciting.

Our walls are natural white and the feature walls are camel train (light tan colour). Should look good with the floors. They will do the feature walls when they come back to start the outside.

Inside painting nearly done. Painters onsite today starting on eaves. He said he may even have some colour on the external walls too.
Plumbers have finished (didn't even know they had started)
Electricians onsite today to start the fit out.

Main bathroom - we finally have a bath. Loving the square finish to the bath and basin. They match really well.

Saw the SS today and he said the cleaners are starting tomorrow.
He said we should be getting an email from Head Office shortly.

It feels like the end is really close. Outside painting nearly finished, screens installed, plumbing finished, mirrors, robes, shower screens installed, goop off windows and the cleaners have done a partial clean. Electricians coming tomorrow to finish off.
Still need painters for feature walls, finish outside and touchup where other trades have scuffed walls (only a couple of spots which is good), carpet, dishwasher, silicon for bathrooms, site clean and cleaners to do final clean.
SS said that he will be doing a Quality Inspection end of next week and then should be PCI for week after. So Close.

Now that the Goop is removed from the windows, I get to see what it looks like from the kitchen bench through to the back yard and family room on left. They have put the barrier screens on too.

So glad we upgraded to the Barrier Screens. They look great.
