I’m not 100% how to resolve this issue yet. We have an indoor / outdoor alfresco area that Langdons promote as the MY ROOM. It was one of the things that drew us to Langdons so having an issue arise with it is upsetting. The “my room” features a door that hides into a wall, creating a totally open wall. The bricks were not returned as they should have been, creating an unfinished and non uniform look to the other side. The framing is to far forward also. One alternative is to return it leaving the door forward to the wall. This makes it not a disappearing door. Which was the feature of the MY ROOM. My husband wants it done to plan. But I understand this would require a major adjustment to structure that’s not correctly aligned. Not sure what do to. Push for a total fix or just get them to return it forward. They suggested flushing it to cover the brick. I want it to match the other side Re: Building a home with Langdon Builders Ballarat (Horsham) 50Jul 03, 2018 12:34 am Other Pics from our build Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Air Con is up Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The other side of the indoor/outdoor Alfresco. Partner wanted them, but I pushed for coastal hope it was a mistake. What colour are your guttering and windows. Paperbark for windows and monument for garage door, roof, down pipes, gutters. The facade render will be paperbark also Re: Building a home with Langdon Builders Ballarat (Horsham) 55Jul 14, 2018 3:56 pm Spent some time at the build today. Happy with the facade. Looking forward to the render and tiles going up. The alfresco stacker door has been fixed which is a Huge relief.

My husband is very upset with this. It appears that the plans didn’t include the returned brick. If we now wanted it changed to be like the display home we would need to pay $1000 to change it. Next time I build Ill be more pedantic about understanding the entire plan design. We wrongly presumed that the garage brick would return as the display home did. Overall I’m extremly happy with the bricks and the brick work. The Brickies were great to communicate with. Just a little down about the display home and plans based on it differing Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Display home showing return brick Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Our back roller door showing a single brick.
