Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Coral homes Monterey 18 build 11May 18, 2018 10:42 am Your original post was a little bit confusing, but I figured out what you meant. I like the plan, it is perfect for a narrow block. I wouldn't personally add a bath to the main bedroom as I would keep the main bedroom space as big as you can and that way the renter can put in a desk or comfy chair and TV for have some privacy. I would put a cavity slider across the hallway to the 2 back bedrooms and that way you have a bit of a private wing. It is good the laundry is near the dining. Shouldn't be a problem for the renter to park on the street at the front of the house. Is this the idea? I did write the post while I was at work quickly, but the onslaught from the other poster made me rethink participating. Thank god the other poster replied to my post so it can keep on being viewed! The covenant allows for the driveway to be long enough for another car to park behind. Their is also plenty of on street parking. I don’t want to add a bath to the main bedroom. The main bedroom is the bedroom I potentially may rent out, if I wanted to. Could the front window be turned into a sliding door instead. Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 14972 Hi so sorry for the late reply. I already contacted them and they wouldn't tell me instead they tried to get me to talk to one of their home coordinators and I'm not… 2 5999 Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 19752 |
