I did experiment vertical garden with bromeliad here but all bromeliads grow out bigger and taken 60cm space and I only have 1.2m from fence to kitchen window....some bromeliads has heavy spines on their leaf edges, don't want to have my face cut everytime I go pass vertical garden. So I'm going to move vertical garden to opposite dining room window. Most of my bromeliads needed shade. that the reason they are under the roof. I only bought few bromeliads, mostly from my mum and kept on propagating as new pups come out. I had placed an old ikea poang chair at alfresco area, I must admit ....pretty nice to sit and rest in between moving plants. Our youngest son was helping to dig a trench and he break the water pipe. The cost to fix water pipe $350. Our driveway work start tomorrow. One pipe for telstra and the other one for electrical just in case if we wants to do to sliding gate in future.
