Hello all
Im a new member here
Ive attached a couple of photos of my backyard
Im just wanting some advice on tropical style plants that will tolerate a light frost?
Ive had a go at planting a couple of of cotton palms, cordylines ,cycads, ponytail palms and I have screeneof my shed with Alphonse Karr bamboo. (Im extremely happy with the Bamboo)
The rest seem to be doing ok however im not really happy with the look.
I think I have to many strappy style plants
Can anyone suggest some broad leaf style plants? I really love alocasia but im hesitating because of the frost. Also I would love some recommendations for creepers to cover a colorbond fence.
its a relatively small sheltered yard
and I have just installed a thermostatly controlled frost fan so hopefully no more frost issues!
Any suggestions on how to make it more tropical looking would be appreciated
Kind regards
Jason
