thank you! We now realise the brick will run all the way to the front door on one side (the drafter coloured it in wrong on our drawings) so I'm hoping it all won't look too harsh.

you are doing render to the front aren't you? My partner and I always said we would do rendered pillars if we stuck with brick for the front. It's always good to have some different textures going on in my personal opinion. Tiled would look good too

You should head out the brick yard for sure, at least get an idea of how certain ones look and which colours you would pick. Then when it comes to your colour appointment you can make a decision once they give you a rough quote on each

the brick yard has some amazing rock like feature ones too, we would have loved to have done something like that, but we didnt even want to know how much more it would have costed haha

no start date yet hopefully we find something out soon. We were waiting on the last variation from an error early on, but i think it still needs to be changed. fingers crossed its the final thing needed for them to go ahead with a date.. well that and then getting some more money off us

We have a start date!!! 11th of April, our SS will be Brad. Excited to get things moving again

We had a very social weekend and everyone kept asking how the build was going, haha our answer was 'waiting on a start date' So keen to get to slab stage

We were due to get the confirmed date tomorrow, but got it today, so hopefully you aren't too far behind either. looking forward to seeing your build come along

fingers crossed! At the beginning of this we were told march/ maybe early april, so it's pretty close. We signed back in late November

We met our SS on Thursday morning, the site had been cut. He said all the work would start on Monday (yesterday) and the slab should be done by Friday. We are going to head out late sunday arvo to check it out going to be strange to see something other than dirt on the lot hahaha

oh and our neighbours went ahead with a fence, but they put in the retaining wall so that's a bonus, as it was something we were worried about doing. Our SS said we may need a very small one on the other side

I love the Avoca build am hoping to do either the 23 or 25 in the next year, hopefully. Am wondering what was the upgrade cost for the Oyster for the benchtop, as we are also in love with that benchtop.
