I added the doors there to still give that impression of the outdoor. viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: New here we are building the Doulton 56 with extension 1126Apr 10, 2018 5:22 pm DRT Looks amazing Love the timber windows and alfresco doors do you mind sharing the cost for the upgrade. All of it’s looking great! You must be excited it’s nearly time to move! Thanks Bethany. Yeah that one is a stunner the powder room more so in person. Cos everyone that sees it says oh wow. Oh we really can’t wait. When I went to studio m the other day. Cos my daughter is building with them as well. I saw my colour consultant there. Who’s now the head of csc. Showed her the pics. She loved the house. She even mentioned that Metricon might want to lease it off us. Then she said but you may be desperate too move in. I said yeah we are. Can’t wait lol viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: New here we are building the Doulton 56 with extension 1134Apr 10, 2018 11:29 pm Bethany Love the powder room bench! All of it’s looking great! You must be excited it’s nearly time to move! We should have been in it in March. But they got the splashback wrong. Well the supplier did. And it’s taken them ages to replace it. They still haven’t. The supplier is taking their time. Cos they made us an offer if we kept the old one. We would get 75% off which was nearly $4000. Or get the one we wanted. So I choose to stick with the one we wanted. As you can imagine they wouldn’t be too happy. So what other way to get at us. Then take their time. They still haven’t replaced it. Then the concreter was hard to get a hold off. The balcony supplier took nearly 2 mths. Now we just have the chandelier to be installed. The front lights. Appliances, decking. Then we should be good to go. viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: New here we are building the Doulton 56 with extension 1135Apr 10, 2018 11:42 pm Looks fantastic D, really like the aggregate concrete look and the details around the house such as the tiled kickbacks for the kitchen bench Metricon Liberty 45, Ryde NSW http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=82846 Build thread: Metricon Liberty 45 in Ryde, NSW Re: New here we are building the Doulton 56 with extension 1136Apr 10, 2018 11:51 pm Quirmeball1280 Looks fantastic D, really like the aggregate concrete look and the details around the house such as the tiled kickbacks for the kitchen bench Metricon Liberty 45, Ryde NSW http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=82846 Thanks Q I must admit I wasn’t sure about the tile kickback. But I do think it’s much better then having the normal kickbacks they put there. We are loving the aggregate too. We got it nearly around the whole house. Just couldn’t take pics cos it’s still drying. Next is the decking. Not long now hopefully before we move in. How about you? Do you have any idea if PCI is close? viewtopic.php?t=86597 Re: New here we are building the Doulton 56 with extension 1138Apr 11, 2018 8:26 pm D777, The house is looking spectacular. It has given me a second wind personally, cannot wait till mine starts. I love the tiling in the bathrooms esp. when it goes to ceiling height. Fells like you are in a 5 star hotel. The powder room reminds me of display homes I have seen and with the darker tile it looks amazing. Congrats on the journey so far...
