Surprised to find hebel tradies finishing off ground floor today - 12/03/2018
Balcony pillars done and all gaps filled with mortar/sealant

There were quite a few tradies working today in the area our house is in. Quite surprising.

I noticed not many tradies were working in our estate on Thursday and Friday- made it a long long weekend and so some of them turned up on Monday to finish the job they had to complete previously cos the builder would have booked new tradies for Tuesday

Wow nice PEast. Hope the walls are completed now. I also noticed you are building in Casey. We are building in the same council as well. Can you suggest us how you got the landscaping design was done for them? We are to give a Landscaping design as well and unsure of to do it our self or pay someone for this.

I’m not sure - since I am building in a new estate I submitted the plan to their design approval department and not council - the estate had certain guidelines according to which I just drew it and submitted to my estate

Yes I was thinking the same. At tender the Arden rep told me, I'll need to submit the Landscape plan as well and suggested this be available to them after contract when the plan is sent for council approval. We are building in Lyndhurst, which sits on the City of Casey. I'm, assuming the regulations are similar be it the same council.

Not sure which estate you are in; we're also in Casey and for ours we've been told to submit the landscape design after handover. The estate has already approved the design for our actual house.

R u building in a new estate or doing a kdr. Since Arden has to submit its house design for approval from estate first, I too had to submit it to Arden at around contract

Insulation delivered on 14/03/18 and completed on both levels on 15/03/18.

Also noted that some doors and cavity sliding frame work delivered

Nice PE, we’re still waiting for the brickies to come back and finish the first floor. Looks like the majority of your Hebel is on and they can starting working on the inside of the house.

Well they haven’t worked much either - still to put hebel on top of windows, entrance, facade.
How is your rangehood connected - is there a vent outside or they leave it inside the external wall cavity

I’ve attached the internal and external of our range hood. All our vents for the rangehood, bathrooms and fireplace are external.
