Still a small hurdle of getting a sewer/water account and paying a small contribution then they will organise the construction certificate. Feels good to have some progress.. Re: GJ Gardner Mountain Views 310 26Apr 09, 2018 7:41 pm Woohoo we got council approval on the 4th April!! just awaiting construction certificate. Our final finance approval is still coming the valuer finished on friday so hopefully that is finalised real soon so that it won't hold us up. Also paid our deposit for the pool just need t pick a colour now. Re: GJ Gardner Mountain Views 310 27Apr 15, 2018 12:15 am Hey Marz, I found your thread . Your so close to starting now congratulations we are still waiting on our commencement certificate too. I hope your valuer is quick at getting the documents back to the bank. Great colour choices you have made, the tiles are lovely and so is the back to wall free standing bath. Have you decided on a pool shell colour yet? Looking forward to following along Re: GJ Gardner Mountain Views 310 28Apr 15, 2018 7:51 am Following along, we can be build buddies We have the same bricks! I fell in love with Blackheath at the brickyard and was fully prepared to pay whatever upgrade cost necessary - turns out they were part of my builder's standard range! ~ Emma Re: GJ Gardner Mountain Views 310 30Apr 15, 2018 8:18 am Yep so very close it seems a touch surreal. Got our final variations pricing on Friday and it wasn’t too bad, one thing I didn’t realise was the extra money for the toilet to lay rectified tiles but anyway it’s all done. They were chasing our construction certificate. The valuation guy was pretty quick he even called me twice asking diff questions and asking what o thought it’d be worth once finished. The pool we are still deciding but think it’s out of platinum pearl and grey quartz both look grey but once water is in look great. What colour have u decided? Re: GJ Gardner Mountain Views 310 31Apr 15, 2018 8:19 am Ok so the extra money for *tiler* not the toilet haha 🤣 Re: GJ Gardner Mountain Views 310 32Apr 16, 2018 10:36 am I agree Marz I can’t believe we have actually started and we will have our own home again. Mmmm that’s a bugger about the tiler fee, we have rectified too but I’m not sure what the lay fee was as I got a total fee. Both of those colours are really lovely, I haven’t picked anything yet we have just delayed our install until August, we have a site meeting with Barrier Reef in May to pick the location etc. Crossing fingers that commencement certificate shows up today Re: GJ Gardner Mountain Views 310 33Apr 24, 2018 8:19 pm Well we are still waiting to get our construction certificate..... And in the mean time I've started second guessing our kitchen stone colour. We went with fresh concrete but have now started to look at raw concrete and alpine mist, can't they just start so its locked in. Still haven't actually signed off on final colour choices yet waiting for GJs of course) Re: GJ Gardner Mountain Views 310 34Apr 24, 2018 8:26 pm marz1983 Well we are still waiting to get our construction certificate..... Oh if you change your stone will it match your splashback and flooring? I hate my splashback tiles and am trying to find replacements (proving to be harder than I thought). Try not to over think your choices because one change leads to a snowball affect (I almost did it but stopped myself) Re: GJ Gardner Mountain Views 310 35Apr 24, 2018 10:08 pm Yep it would match but have even been thinking I should have went matt black subways instead of hexagons??? Re: GJ Gardner Mountain Views 310 36Apr 25, 2018 7:06 pm marz1983 Yep it would match but have even been thinking I should have went matt black subways instead of hexagons??? I like the grey Marz, if you stay with the grey you could change your handles to black and maybe have black pendant lights and stools?? The black subways do look good though Re: GJ Gardner Mountain Views 310 37Jun 24, 2018 2:59 pm Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Finally have some news we got our commencement letter on the 12th June while we were away on holidays.
