Oh no, that’s no good peast! From conversations with the SS I think it’s the lock up carpenter that straightens the walls ready for lock up? Are you doing a pre plaster inspection too?
Our house is wrapped but hasn’t progressed any further towards hebel or lock up...have been really patient till now but starting to get really frustrated 😬 Will wait to see how they work through fixing all the next lot of items listed on our darbecca report from today...

yeah doing pre-plaster and then PCI. can you PM me your frame stage report and I will PM you mine when I get it today - just to compare the trades.

Hey Katgalle, sounds like we are in the same boat, waiting for rectifications to proceed to Hebel. How can they do pre-plaster inspection if your not at lock up? We’ve had no progress for a month

Sorry to hear that Ezza. What's the holdup, AAA?

We've been flying since new SS took over. Hebel is done on ground floor and plaster is going in tomorrow subject to defects being rectified (on my way to check it out now).

We've been flying since new SS took over. Hebel is done on ground floor and plaster is going in tomorrow subject to defects being rectified (on my way to check it out now).

Our frame report was pretty bad but it all got rectified fairly quickly, so don't be too stressed if yours is bad too.

AAA are the frame pre-fab company (I think). Depending on the defects, they probably need to send out a chippie, which can take a while.

Ahh thanks for explaining. I almost wish it was the frame, but our frame report was very good.

So disappointed that a significant number of items picked up in our original frame inspection (at the start of December 😬😬) still haven’t been addressed! jnfortunaley not giving us a whole heap of faith at the moment, although have got Arden over the line to cover a few of the costs where this is unfairly impacting us. Have to hang onto the small wins! I’ll PM you our report now. Fingers crossed for some smooth and productive progress peast and ezza78!!

You’ve got to constantly follow up with your admin and SS regarding the inspection report. Otherwise they’ll push it too the side, forget about it and deal with the reports they’re being hassled about. I’ve asked for a written reply + photos to confirm defects have been fixed.
Considering your build is well and truly moving along, any defects hopefully will be fixed in an acceptable timeframe. If it takes a few weeks to correct defects now rather than months to deal with issues post handover. I know which one it’d take.

Further received frame report and it contains the usual overhand problem because they have poured the slab 50mm short at a couple of places, not used corrected fasteners at some places.
Report was sent to SS and he informed that their QA also has pointed to a couple of similar issues and the for the remaining report they will rectify and send photos

On 22/02/18 - looks like upper level electric done and plumbers have kept water running probably to check for any problems with joints
