Hey Abuild,

Pricing came back Wednesday and needed some adjusting lets just say the extra earth works for the shed pad and pool pad will be done via cash with the earth works company on the day .

I'm really impressed with drafting the plans look amazing, I did lose my fancy brick to the front facade though as the price was stupidity, never mind.

Final drafts and pricing due back today so I can start a thread over the weekend hooray.

Uhm to be honest I wouldn't put it beside the pool that close, it clumps as it grows and takes up all the space available to it. It's insanely strong and I wouldn't want that pushing up against my concrete coping. The worst part is it drops leaves (badly) I could picked up a garbage bag packed full every fortnight you seriously don't want that in your pool your filter would have a fit.

That's how fast and big mine grew in 16 months and the base of them where so big I couldn't put my arms around them when we sold.

I just did a look into Malay Dwarf Bamboo might be a better option, it grows to 3-4m in height and has a base clump of 1.5m which is perfect for your 2m width from the fence to the coping. Tiger grass is kind of boundless and just grows and grows. It also tolerates the cooler weather and doesn't drop as many leaves as tiger grass.

Here is a write up about it from the nursery I used to go to at Wongawallan they really know there Bamboo and the lady is super helpful. Even if you give them a call and ask which Bamboo would be the perfect type to fit your climate and space/pool location

It's a hard rule to follow and hopefully Bamboo works as it can't really bare weight or be climbed. Good luck Cat you will sort it out. You could still go with tiger grass but just keep thinning it to stop it clumping too big and clean the dead leaves up every couple of days so they don't cause you grief. Just depends on how much extra work you want to take on. Your very talented with the renders you should be doing lots of that
