If it is, so be it - not a huge amount in the general scheme of things. Yep on the asset protection charge, pretty standard in most developments. So long as the crossover and footpath and so on are not damaged during the building process, should get that refunded pretty promptly once the build is complete. As far as settlement goes, we are booked for the 13th which is a bit of a bummer...was hoping they could slot in earlier but no such luck. We don't have site costs yet (Fairhaven would not do fixed costs without a land survey) and the surveyor can't access the block until after settlement! We have asked that they survey the day after settlement so that we can get the ball rolling. Once THAT is done, we should be able to book in for tender and contract signing...it really seems like a whole lot of 'hurry up and wait' at the moment, so a bit frustrating. With the Apollo, we have been given an estimate of about a 7 month build time...so we are telling ourselves that we should be moving in around this time next year. That way if it is any earlier it is a bonus, and if there are any delays then we won't be crushed. Once I work out how to get photos onto here I will share colour selections as best I can yeah met my conveyancer and she informed that the developer conveyancing team cannot do before the 13th of September and so sent an email to wolf that as per their message about earlier settlements being welcome is not possible due to their solicitor end. Well, u should be able to see the up key with a rectangle around it to upload photos from mobile or computer. I took a photo on mobile and then uploaded it from there Looking forward to your colour selection and are you making any modifications to the floor plan. The symbol with camera should allow to choose the option for photos as below Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ follow my build Arden homes Votivo 37 iin south east: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=88622 Re: Fairhaven Homes - Apollo in South East Melbourne 14Aug 31, 2017 3:44 pm Ah, got it! Thank you! Could not see for looking... As soon as I get home I will take lots of photos and start uploading! Not changing the floor plan at all, we really love the layout and it works beautifully for our family. Re: Fairhaven Homes - Apollo in South East Melbourne 15Oct 12, 2017 6:45 am Hi - how did u go with site costs follow my build Arden homes Votivo 37 iin south east: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=88622 Re: Fairhaven Homes - Apollo in South East Melbourne 16Oct 12, 2017 8:57 am Hi! Not looking good unfortunately...site was classified as ‘P’ so we are expecting them to be pretty steep 😟 We have our tender appointment on the 20th, so will find out costs then Re: Fairhaven Homes - Apollo in South East Melbourne 17Oct 13, 2017 6:01 am I think foundation is important and there is hardly much fill or fall across the land. So even with p your costs won't be much higher I hope. On my last visit a total of 5 lots including mine had taps but I am awaiting building permit approval but I think Simonds on lot 148 has started the build. follow my build Arden homes Votivo 37 iin south east: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=88622 Re: Fairhaven Homes - Apollo in South East Melbourne 18Oct 13, 2017 6:14 am Totally agree - would prefer the slab to be over engineered and pay that little bit extra rather than go cheap and have the house crack a couple of years down the track! Very excited that builds are starting, we shall hopefully not be too far away once our tender is done...but waiting on permits and so on can be VERY frustrating! The developer approval is fast - very understanding and they process it almost immediately. Hope you have a nice tender and would like to see ur colour selections And just received our building permit follow my build Arden homes Votivo 37 iin south east: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=88622 Re: Fairhaven Homes - Apollo in South East Melbourne 20Oct 20, 2017 4:09 pm Peach72 Hi! Looking for recommendations. Thanks 0 21753 May I ask why you chose not to use GJ Gardiner? I'm actually meeting with one of the sales guys tomorrow for an appointment. Definitely not signing anything yet… 3 14018 We are looking to do a KDR with fairhaven homes, Have seen plenty of good reviews about them pre construction and plenty of negative reviews about them during contruction… 0 18442 |
