We saw our bank and got them to order final contracts so hopefully that kicls our guys into gear. Just need the whoever it is that does it to come and silicone the ensuite and i think thats it. We gave up on the painters their fix ups were **** than the actual job so we'll do the touch ups ourselves. So hopefully by end of next friday! I have 2 weeks off the week after so they better do hand over next week. Ahh frustrating about the painters!!!! I was meaning to go for a drive out your way over the weekend but decided to go to Ballina and buy a lounge instead hehe. Hope you get keys this week!! Have you already bought your flooring? Will be chilly living with concrete floor while you are doing floors, I wanted polished concrete floor but A) too costly and B) too cold for me haha Re: Our first build northern NSW with coral homes 455May 22, 2017 2:15 pm Thanks guys! The waiting game sucks. Hopefully this week!! CB - havent bought flooring yet. That may have to wait a month. In the meantime i think we'll just have rugs. Our homes really warm when its locked up so hopefully we'll make it through haha. First priority is driveway and fully fenced yard! We were going to go halves with one side of neighbours but it seems theyve been pushed to do a horizontal colorbond fence or something with the neighbours on the other side of them. They came to us and were quite pushy about getting us to go with the same. Mind you they themselves havent even seen the design of the fence or quote or anything. Its just been organised by the other neighbour... So i think we're just going to opt out and do our own fencing altogether. We dont have neighbours on the other side and wont have a for a while so its just the easier dispute free option for us. Not ideal moneywise but we arent in any mood to deal with pushy neighbours that just want what they want. We have a bit we want to do before we fill up the house! Cant believe its finally happening We had a DA approved last year and here is the condition that was imposed by Northern Beaches council: 1 658 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 15051 Hi so sorry for the late reply. I already contacted them and they wouldn't tell me instead they tried to get me to talk to one of their home coordinators and I'm not… 2 6173 |
