Building Majestic 40 - wisdom homes Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 5548Apr 30, 2017 4:22 pm addie 1231 ozmonkeyoy Our roof was finished yesterday -Colourbond Wallaby Grey. It looks a lot lighter than I thought it would be, the sun has that effect I guess. Congratulations! It is exciting when it has a roof. Looks more like a house. Thanks. It certainly does look more complete with a roof. We still have areas on the upper floor where cladding needs to be installed and also render on facade and then when the scaffold comes down is when I think I will get really excited. We didn't get a call from our SS this week so not sure what the next install will be. Any ideas? Will it be the cladding or do they start the downpipes or begin rough-ins or other? Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 5549Apr 30, 2017 4:25 pm addie 1231 addie 1231 Looking good and you can surely see the finish line soon. I also wouldn't go near the tiles yet either.... Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 5551Apr 30, 2017 4:28 pm MrsLlamas2016 GLO MrsLlamas2016 Mrs Llamas2016, Would you mind sharing your electrical layout and given its so bright, what you would change? Thanks Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Here's our electrical plan. Happy with all, except 4 downlights would have been ample over our kitchen section instead of 6. Everything else we are pretty happy with, they are just a bit brighter than we expected Haha Building Majestic 40 - wisdom homes We have 6 in the kitchen as well, must be the recommended amount and ours is a smaller house! Ah well, plenty of light to cook by majestic35.weebly.com Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 5552Apr 30, 2017 4:30 pm Has anyone got a pic they could share of an expansion joint in the laminate flooring that W (ie D Lorenzo) has laid? Do they try to hide these as much as possible or do they lay them where ever they fall per flooring manufacturer specs? Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 5553Apr 30, 2017 4:34 pm Wandered around our frames today. Does anyone know why there are so many boxed up corners? We have them in almost all the cupboard spaces. When on the plans I had assumed they were to box in some sort of required wiring, air con etc.... but now I'm not too sure. Anyone got an idea? Wish I'd asked if they were necessary and if I could have deleted them. majestic35.weebly.com Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 5554Apr 30, 2017 4:46 pm ozmonkeyoy addie 1231 ozmonkeyoy Our roof was finished yesterday -Colourbond Wallaby Grey. Ours is a bit different as they installed the roof before competing 2nd level of bricks. Followed by down pipes at the ba k then cladding. The last part they finished externally is the portico. Air con ducting, upstairs plumbing (if double storey), ventilation piping, fireplace duct, etc all seem to be used in these areas. You happy with the tiles or still too early to tell? Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 5559Apr 30, 2017 5:15 pm Ours is a bit different as they installed the roof before competing 2nd level of bricks. The right colour doesn't show on phone cameras but it's like light sand colour. So the pattern match it. Makes me feel that i should have chosen a lighter upper cabinet though to complete that warmth feel. But might change once painting is is finished and splash back is installed. Ours would have been downpipes and internal rough ins. Our cladding didn't go in for ages! Building Majestic 40 - wisdom homes Can someone please offer some advice? Im DESPERATE.
