It depends on what outcome you want? There have been a few suggestions above, so where have they guided you? At a minimum, I would consider a wider range hood to fully cover the stovetop as mentioned by CuttingEdgeKitchens, which will lead to approximately 450mm cupboard doors over a 900mm cupboard (or slightly larger or small depending on the installation needs of the range hood). I would then put two matching width cupboards doors on either side of the centre cupboard, and fill the small amount of extra space at the ends with a small blank section. If you have an open access area on top of the cupboard why not extend the cupboards up a bit more and close the open access area on top of the cupboards with a subframe and bulkhead. It means you won't need to go up there to clean the dust.
