Yeah i guess with all the new builds going around everywhere it would take longer to book tradies in. Anyways just heard back from M and they said new dates for tempus elite would be 49 to 52 weeks. So jolo you got lucky with 42 weeks. Just disappointed as I was originally told xmas/ny we'd get the house. Now it looks like july 2018 Does that include the 5 weeks they shut down for next xmas added and all their rain days? My neighbours built Eden Brae across road 4 months after they broke soil they were in their house. MacDonald Jones 3 doors down 6 months. Both neighbours cant speak highly enough about their builders. No that's not included Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 13331Feb 07, 2017 11:14 am kly525 sandra 2016 kly525 Thanks Gibson. The free one that they give you is not good enough to run more than 2 rooms at a time. Our upgrade cost 6 grand for a daikin air cond that will cool whole house. Right. Yeah coz I'd like aircon ducs for all the rooms upstairs. Ok. Ill confirm with M person today since I have to ask other questions. Is it possible to get a credit for the air con and go with our own supplier? IMHO, there is a good chance, that the credit they will give you is less than the cost of the AC. E.g., they may give you the wholesale price they get from the supplier. In your tender it is that price plus 27% margin. Thus they may make the 27% without even having to organise the AC install and providing the warranty. 2014 30/05 $3900 25/08 Contracts 02/10 DA submitted 2015 17/02 DA approved 02/04 Colors 10/04 Demo 09/07 Construction start 27/07 Fill 15/08 Slab 21/09 Frame 2016 08/01 Bricks Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 13333Feb 07, 2017 12:34 pm sandra 2016 kly525 sandra 2016 Now that i thought about it you do your air cond stuff at colours app. You go into a seperate room with a air cond man. They do give you the vents in every room its the motor that wont be big enough in the free one they give you so the guy told us if we want more than 2 rooms on at a time we had to upgrade. Better you email them with what you just asked them and say please confirm via email. Never trust over the phone what they agree to on a phone call or verbal its cow manure they will not do anything and change their mind once you sign EVERYTHING AND I MEAN EVERY LITTLE THING YOU NEED IN WRITING DONT GET FOOLED. Hi Fisher, I asked at colours could i get credited for the crappy air cond that they give as standard. I was told no you either upgrade with us or you get no credit and you do your own after handover. So i just paid the extra $6 grand got myself the top of range Daikin air cond in this heat your going to need a good one Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 13335Feb 07, 2017 12:52 pm kly525 Can someone who has or is having a double storey built advise how many days/weeks you got quoted? M quoted us 230 (46 weeks) which I think is a little too much Ours is 225 working days: 2 storey, 5 bedroom + granny flat 2014 30/05 $3900 25/08 Contracts 02/10 DA submitted 2015 17/02 DA approved 02/04 Colors 10/04 Demo 09/07 Construction start 27/07 Fill 15/08 Slab 21/09 Frame 2016 08/01 Bricks Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 13336Feb 07, 2017 12:58 pm sandra 2016 Fisher75 kly525 Right. I would of rathered the 4k credit as had issues with bank for final 2 payments cause they needed appliances in b4 handover. M made me sign indemnity letter just so i could get appliances day before keys. My sales lady said she wrote all the prices of the upgraded bricks in my colours folder she gave me. Ordered my colour as per $1200 price from book. Go to sign contract $4 grand. After months of back and forth M said i could have wrote all prices in my book myself. Pffff i had a email from her confirming " Hi Sandra i wrote the prices in your colours book to help you out when selecting your bricks" end quote. You know what i had to.pay yep $4k. We are paying approx. $6k to upgrade our bricks. I had to ask for the quote via email so have it in writing from the sales team so they can't say i was misquoted or misheard. Also i based the choice partially on the cost as it was a toss up between 2 brick choices. Yeah i think they must be extending build time for people who are only now signing up with them. The contracts manager is adamant that the build days is correct...however, if i find out afterwards that it's not the case ill be have a not so kind word to this contracts manager 4 17306 i imagine you also have another contract with an architect? and yeah, whatever other's said about special conditions and appendices 16 16909 Hi all I am looking to run a water line under my concrete footpath which is directly next to my home, was seeing if this is possible without cutting the entire section… 0 20876 |
