Henley - Sahara 40 Build - Fit out has begun!

So we somehow didnt know that the facade we have chosen is actually on a house just around the corner from us in the other estate! So now we know what it is going to look like!!

They have chosen some awful colours so we will definitely need to ensure that we make it look nice, but we are more than satisfied with how it looks! I need to take a photo

You're right colours make a huge difference, my personal preference but I prefer darker colours ( more industrial look) to my facade. I completely changed where there render would be on our facade. Render only to the portico up to balcony and 3 feature piers on ground level and render all upstairs to frontage only. We've opted for a light grey and dark charcoal grey to our render. Hopefully it will have more of a cleaner look compared to what I have seen ready built. Fingers crossed xx

I was talking to Henley sales today, and they said they wished Henley did more grey colours on their displays!

Well the new display in Berwick waters that opens this weekend is much better with this! I can't wait to see the inside of them as they have apparently stopped the browns!

Nope! Which is so weird as the palace is the number 1 double that they build! It just doesn't make sense, even our SC was puzzled as to why they were not building one. It would have been good for us as it would have been around the corner

I saw the world of homes Berwick waters advertised at back of a bus this morning while I was driving through Dandenong. Picture looked great, had a large pool when looking through Alfresco doors! Let me know if it is actually real, the pool that is

Sounds great!! I might have to make a trip and get some inspiration for landscaping and decor

Okay so this is the photo of the facade, it's weird to know that it's just a stone throw from where we are currently living and had absolutely no idea!! We are a lot more at ease with going ahead with it now.

We are still waiting on the update of th changes to the door coming out onto the balcony as in the plan it's only a 2 door stacker but we want the same as what's on this one

Looks like a nice facade! But I think it would look great in charcoal, grey and white

and a dark charcoal stain to timber doors!Our facade plans also included a three stacked sliding door but we couldn't have it in the end as we have boutique aluminium ( all double glazed). So if we changed it then we wouldn't have gotten double glazed in the smaller door panel sizes!

I agree with mclaren77, re the colours. The brown colours on here don't bring out how good it could be.

I agree with both of you! We think the colours actually take away from the impact it could have which is why we will be going for far more neutral colours such as greys

We measured the balcony as well and it's going to be plenty big enough for us

Metricon do grey toned facades really well. You might want to get some inspiration from them.

What colours did you go for Spicegirl for your Broadway Facade? That's also a good facade to have some fun with.

Yea we are starting to gather some ideas, the new ones in Berwick waters are better colours also!

One thing is they have feature bricks on the front pillars of the new display homes, last time we built they wouldn't allow this, so I am hoping they have changed this rule!
