My builder has come back with the plans after the survey and contours. And its not good. The level of Cut at the rear at one end is 700mm and other at 600mm. Which means I will have to build a retaining wall in the backyard and the level of my house and backyard will not be the same. Got two options I think. 1. Build a retaining wall within the confines of my lot with House and Backyard at slightly different levels 2. Cut all the backyard (which am sure will be expensive) and build a retaining wall (even higher one) at the boundary fence level (Shared with Neighbour and which may not be possible due to regulations etc). What I know is that I am screwed either ways. Do you guys know of any Landscaper/Retaining Wall builder so that I can get approximate quotes/costs involved. Need it ASAP. Hi, I have just received advices from the Developer that the plans are out of Council and now are with LPI (11th October) , they expect rego in 3-4 weeks. No idea about the driveway question, but your price for a house that size including landscaping seems very good! 1 6577 The fastest thing a builder will do is bank your cheque, those systems work perfectly with lightning speed, everything else is slow burn.
