Looking back I wish that we did for peace of mind. Our slab was awful and went through rectification works. We ended up getting each inspection for each stage from then on. Only hiccup - the front garage roller door was placed in the incorrect position. Our prestart consultant and drafting manager agreed with our concerns over the look & practicality of the door placement and will have it amended for the final plans - phew!! Now just to wait for final electrical and engineers plans, and council building permit. So much to do and so many things to think about before it event looks like your building a house!
