We also have a storage area in our garage which will definitely come in handy. Good luck with the build. Re: Celebration Homes - Mason Green Piara Waters 6May 01, 2016 4:45 pm Pre-Start post! Here is our pre-pre-start contract drawing plan and elevation: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ We did alot of minor upgrades and revisions at pre-start, nothing over the top or too drastic. I had sketched up exactly how we wanted to change the electrical plan so it was easier to explain and make sure we didnt forget anything. All the revisions were pretty minor - nominate additional paving location, move air con unit, 8c sill to master in lieu of full height window, manhole moved into garage, relocate towel rail and door in ensuite so towel rail was next to the shower instead of behind the door, privacy lock to master door instead of ensuite, raise height of shelf and rail in all robes and wir to 2000mm, fix the fridge recess to be how it was on sales drawing ie flush with the back bench but 800mm deep, dishwasher into island, pot drawers unequal heights instead of equal, flip scullery sink. Upgrades were also not too over the top ($2,5k total) - slimline mirrors to bathroom and ensuite, dorf kip wall mixers to ensuit shower x 2 and bathroom shower and bath, second colour to island bench cabinets, gainsborough amelia internal door handles throughout, sliding robes to have 1 x panel mirror & 1 x panel vinyl, electrical upgrades extra and over what we had in the PWC : 4 extra LED's, 2 x 10 watt up/down outdoor lights front of garage, 3 more double GPO, 1 more outdoor double GPO, 4 conduit points. Selections & Colours Like alot of people at the moment we are going with grey/dark grey/white theme and will have colours from our furniture and decorations once we move in. Only thing we did really out of the ordinary is our island bench cabinets are going to be different to the backbench and scullery cabinets. Anyone that's been into the celebration selection room will be familiar with alot of our selection.. haha.. Sorry pictures arent great especially the texture tiles and we didnt really get photos of everything set up together as much as we should. We have picked some of the same things as you (but are putting them in different areas.) We're putting the Belga tiles in our bathrooms with the Vento white tiles that have the subtle wave texture. Just checked out your plan. The store in the garage plus external store for garden gear is a great idea! We wanted the store space in the garage so we didnt need a shed, our old place had 2 steel sheds + a fully powered 20m2 workshop. We only really used all that pretty much for storage though and abit of a home gym. I have plans to install shelving in our store area and along the back wall of our garage so hopefully that's enough to cover us! Re: Celebration Homes - Mason Green Piara Waters 9May 22, 2016 2:19 pm Just noticed on the estate website that it says your stage is titled now. Congratulations! Mason Green Estate, Piara Waters with Celebration Homes: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=79358 Re: Celebration Homes - Mason Green Piara Waters 11May 30, 2016 1:43 pm We got titles and settlement on the land while we were overseas! Signed off on final drawings so now I think we are waiting on building approval from the council to really get the ball rolling. Re: Celebration Homes - Mason Green Piara Waters 14Jun 08, 2016 4:08 pm Having a hiccup at the moment because the bank wont accept the digital signatures Celebration Homes had us do the contract etc with. So printed them out and will get them signed manually and back asap but hopefully it hasn't delayed us much. Re: Celebration Homes - Mason Green Piara Waters 15Jun 08, 2016 4:10 pm jpmontoya Congrats not long before the action starts.. almost looks like we are at same stage. Interesting to see us at the same stage, the other builder we were literally hours away from signing with before Celebration Homes pulled out all the fruit to get us to sign with them was New Generation. Hopefully both go just as smooth as each other! I am through Bankwest and they had no issues with the digital signatures I used to sign my Celebrations contracts. And who was your sales Rep Re: Celebration Homes - Mason Green Piara Waters 18Jun 08, 2016 5:03 pm Your colour selections look great, they are very similar to ours. With 3 kids we didn't upgrade our carpet either but upgraded the underlay so it feels better underfoot. Interesting that Bankwest didnt have an issue seeing that Commonwealth owns them! And who was your sales Rep It was basically the same house as we are doing with Celebrations as a "one-of". Luke Matthews was our sales rep with New Gen, I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking at building with Summit group! nelleebellee Your colour selections look great, they are very similar to ours. Only thing we are worried about with our colours is we went with a grey main floor tile so hoping that all the white and grey everywhere isnt too "cold" Re: Celebration Homes - Mason Green Piara Waters 20Jun 13, 2016 12:04 pm Got our Building Permit in the mail when we got home from work on Friday!
