I wanted it for the opposite reason, I can turn the aircon off from anywhere if the kids have it on during mild weather

My wife & I are building at Oran Park, it's been a long journey from when we purchased the land in December 2013! We've been told that we should be in the house at the beginning of April. I'm crossing my fingers and toes! Fowler or Wisdom (can’t remember which one) do the floor first then install the kitchen on top of it. Makes more sense that way but M must have their reasons for not doing it. We hated their method so much that we came up with the idea of installing the kickboards after the tiles and were willing to pay for the kitchen guys to come back out again to do it. It was in the kitchen quote and when it came to the crunch M didn't hold up their end of the bargain. At the time when we questioned it with our SS he said that his boss told him M don’t do it that way. Arielbj – You ask how can they charge $11.7k for being 3 months over tender… because they can and no one can stop them. And if you try to go to Dept of Fair Trading or similar then they’d hope that all the hoops you have to go through to try and get some money back would slow you down and eventually you'll give up trying. The building industry is unregulated so they can do whatever they want. I don’t understand how M can charge for fee increases when they are to blame and not the client. You live fairly close by to us so I would imagine the weather related delay days should be roughly the same. We had 4 all up, from the storm from hell in April last year. Congrats on getting the keys. G said we would get them first!! Nadicoop – Welcome!! And good luck. We paid $9k-10k for Nickel Flash. No idea which group it belongs to. Building4my3tots Hi Redwynne, where did you buy your kitchen stuff from? Winnings? And which rangehood did you end up getting? Which of the Sirius brand you're getting? I'm about to finalise my kitchen appliances selection and looking at Sirius as well. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75739&p=1299716#p1299716 We bought all our appliances from Harvey Norman at Auburn, mostly AEG. The Sirius rangehood is SLTCEM 92 G 900 (http://siriusbrand.com/media/SLEMTC92G9002.pdf). We bought them October 2014!! Yeah our build has dragged on now for 15 months and still dragging on Bleaky – If Scaffy is anything like ours, he’ll be back!!! Is this moisture problem prevalent for tiles too? redwynne, I think is it only timber/bamboo flooring problem. 2014 30/05 $3900 25/08 Contracts 02/10 DA submitted 2015 17/02 DA approved 02/04 Colors 10/04 Demo 09/07 Construction start 27/07 Fill 15/08 Slab 21/09 Frame 2016 08/01 Bricks 4 17160 i imagine you also have another contract with an architect? and yeah, whatever other's said about special conditions and appendices 16 16590 Hi all I am looking to run a water line under my concrete footpath which is directly next to my home, was seeing if this is possible without cutting the entire section… 0 20686 |
