We *finally* got our PCI signed off a couple weeks ago - nearly THREE MONTHS after handover. But everything was sorted in the end. We bought some more bookshelves yesterday so we can unpack our library, once that's done I'll post some pics We're just gradually working through the remaining things. We still need a buffet unit for the dining room, and something to go in the hall. And we have a bunch of pictures we need to get framed. But we'll get there Jen (& Dave) Plantation Bronte, Ormeau Ridge, Gold Coast QLD 12/03/2015 - Commencement... 26/08/2015 - Handover! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76446 Re: Plantation Bronte, Ormeau Ridge QLD - Post-Handover 1497Dec 07, 2015 8:29 pm Great to hear that you got all those things sorted. You have created such a lovely home. Wonderful to have shared some of that experience with you Thank you ... Yes nearly there. The prize (eyes have been glued to) is now materialising Re: Plantation Bronte, Ormeau Ridge QLD - Post-Handover 1498Dec 08, 2015 7:40 am Great news about your plumbing, really pleased for you and Dave! Re: Plantation Bronte, Ormeau Ridge QLD - Painting started 1499Jan 04, 2016 1:06 pm Ilaeria So we had our meeting. Still no PCI date he said "about a month, give or take" and we will only get 2 weeks notice, grr. We found a couple of issues - a power point in the wrong spot (which we'd told the previous SS!), but more importantly, the tiling on the bath in the main bathroom was not done how we pictured. This is what it looks like: We were expecting the dark tile to be over the whole hob (sides and top). He is happy to get it fixed, but he pointed out that if we do out the dark tiles on both sides, it will look funny in the shower, and if we only put them on the front, it will look funny with the 2 sides different and also maybe too dark with the dark cabinets. What do you guys think? More photos! Lounge: Main ensuite: Library: Paint colour: Kitchen bench: Will try to get some better ones on Tuesday when I'm there with the sparky. Sent from Tapatalk Oooh! love this paint colour!! do you mind sharing? I am also starting to build in Ormeau Ridge Re: Plantation Bronte, Ormeau Ridge QLD - Post-Handover 1500Jan 04, 2016 1:10 pm Oh hi Hayleyyyy! What part are you in? Who are you building with? My paint colour is Ghosting Half. It's a lovely clear grey without being too cool or too brown. Everyone who sees it loves it. I think it's a very modern colour. Good luck with your build! For anyone else who hasn't given up on me, I'm still kicking! I'll have some Christmas photos soon and maybe if you're very lucky some library photos Sent from Tapatalk Jen (& Dave) Plantation Bronte, Ormeau Ridge, Gold Coast QLD 12/03/2015 - Commencement... 26/08/2015 - Handover! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76446 Hi all.
