I believe its really important for everyone to go thru their home properly @ pre-inspection and point out every single details which they not happy with.
I will go ahead with settlement this week as they agreed to fix all the issues which I listed but if there is a conflict then you can refuse to go ahead until n unless they clarify "why they can't fix it". @Alfred1855 : they don't send pricing online on your pc ... it must be hard copy or you would have took picture on your phone. Also, if you have hand written one then simply take a picture and upload it on http://tinypic.com from your phone and share the second line link (IMG Code) here @ forum. Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 403Nov 01, 2015 10:28 am @Rjz bernie did send a soft copy to my email last week, but i want to empty my email box for waitting confirm email properly, I guess everyone can have a request, but anyway i will upload my handwriting one when i finish my work today Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 404Nov 01, 2015 10:49 am @rjz...great to hear that they they are attending to the concerned issues...i hope they agreed to clean the garage and bring it to a state where its usable too.. Now this may sound like a bit of a dumb question..but how can one test whether all the electric wiring, water pipes, air cons and gas lines are working? Do we need to have our providers establish that connection before inspection date? Also for those who have inspections in the near future, might be worthwhike to consider taking the person who is installing blinds/curtains etc along for the inspection to get measurements as they usually take a couple (or even more) weeks to get everything prepared for installation... Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 405Nov 01, 2015 5:44 pm @Dasi, Rjz: regarding the installation of blind, curtain and security doors etc. I would suggest to get a few quotes quickly by sending the layout plan with window and door dimensions to the installers. Once you get their quotes, select the favorite one and organise a site inspection to get the final measurement. In this way, you are saving time and get your cost under control without bothered by the limited opportunity in attending the property before settlement. Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 406Nov 01, 2015 5:55 pm @DASI : You are required to contact below company and they will transfer whichever energy provider you will choose.

Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 409Nov 01, 2015 6:38 pm sorry guys I do not know how to upload pic i try to do it already Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 412Nov 01, 2015 7:05 pm @Rjz: Sorry to hear that there were so many issues with the construction finishes. Hopefully they will fix them all in time. Exciting times ahead for you! And thanks for sharing your experience in this forum. It really helps! Regarding that split level garden, are all the homes in the premier release having two levels? Did you get a chance to ask them why they did that? Although they needed 1.5m for easement they could have brought the lower level of the garden up and made it look better What sort of time frames have they asked for fixing those issues? Are they allowing you bring someone in to get the measurements for blinds and fly-screens? Thanks again! Cheers Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 414Nov 02, 2015 11:43 am @kj1212: Rjz also had an issue with unclean garage, I believe they acknowledged all his complaints. Is the ensuite walk-in smaller than what they had on your floor plan? That doesn't sound very good. And transparent window glass for bathroom is outrageous. They got to fix it! Could you post some pictures of the garage or the walk-in? Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 417Nov 02, 2015 4:36 pm @Binca : I didn't get a chance to ask them why they made the garden split level and they haven't provided any time frame when all the issues will be fixed but i guess as soon as move in I will have few more and they can fix all in one round. There have very strict restrictions on maximum 4 people (No child under 10) allowed on your pre-inspection so i guess it won't that easy to invite few contractors for measurements ..... !!! I personally think it's better to pay detail attention and focus on the property defects rather than measurements .... !!! Customer Relation team is very friendly and they should be able to open your property some other time for measurements. kj1212@ You can request them to clean your Garage with acid's which will remove major stains and paint marks on the floor. Last but not least : Thank you everyone for sharing all the details here @ blog and we should all be proud of our beautiful community. RJ Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 418Nov 02, 2015 4:47 pm @lakeview: Thank you for sharing the latest price list mate @Rjz: Great to hear that they will be attending to the issues and I do hope that they will be true to their word. Agree with you previous comment about how this sort of a thing like a very messy garage can be expected from a small developer but with Fraser you kind of do expect quality end product because of their status in property development in Australia. Hope they tinker all these for the next releases and have less and less issues. Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 419Nov 02, 2015 4:51 pm I say put pictures on Social Media....then they will act quicky Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 420Nov 03, 2015 10:54 am @kj1212, When I did a pre inspection to my investment property with Eden Brae a year ago, same issue found in garage floor as here. However, the supervisor immediately admitted the fault and said it was not acceptable even to him. He issued an internal complaint to his tradesman and made them to bear the retifying cost because their stocks were being recklessly laid on ground causing the stain. As a reputable developer, Frasers should set an admirable standard as Eden Brae to admit fault. Leaving the new settlement property in an uncleaned state and tell the purchasers to fix it themselves is not a premium player in the industry as it should be. |
