our SS turned up at that time and sealed all those areas, thank God no more water coming through that side.

but it seems like more sealing required above butler pantry window.

that's correct, QNAP was my first NAS and still sticking with this brand. they are very reliable and they release updates/patches quite often too.

i sourced all my HikVision cameras from AliExpress from a seller named "E&M Security". he has good repute there, and he is very quick to reply all inquiries. if you buy 4 or more items he will throw free express post (4 days delivery time). i have DS-2CD2132F-IS model.

In regards to rain water in butler pantry, emailed Henley home assurance team around 12:00 pm today. They called me back around 2:00 pm to organize a fix for this.

Their contractor called me and arranged a time. By 5:00 pm he came and fixed it by filling silicon where required.

I'm impressed, good job Henley.

after this morning rain, there is no apparent water leakage through any window. but one of the safety switch tripped over twice which left half of the house without power.

it seems like there is some internal water leakage which isn't visible from outside but it is definitely not good for the house and us.

Only good side is that safety switch is doing its job properly.

raising this with Henley's home assurance team to look into this issue.

Hi Mirz, that's good and bad news..Get Henley to check out the safety switch as well might need replacing as it happens to our current house when we bought the new brand new..kept on tripping and had no power...

thanks TiVeena, just sent a request to Home Assurance team to look into this issue for us.

we just don't like any mysterious issues around house particularly when it comes to electricity. it is just strange why and where this water is seeping through to create issues.

Henley electrical team done a thorough testing today for about two hours for fault finding.

Hopefully they have fixed what was required and we won't have safety switch issue on a rainy day again.

I'm not sure as they didn't contact me after their field mission.

They also isolated one of our belkin surge protecter power board. It might be fault but can't be a reason behind issue related to rainy day.

I reckon we need to wait for few more heavy rains. A thunderstorm is expected over coming weekend. So will find out what have done has fixed this issue or not.
