No development can be commenced without written Development Approval Re: Things to think about 19Dec 31, 2008 10:35 am I would be trying to get as much natural light into the space as possible - like you said, sliding door - maybe a window in the same wall or on the side wall if possible - and consider privacy re the sliding door if applicable; frosted coating on part or all of the door can be very effective.
Also remember all the data and services that you will want brought into that space - get them roughed in when the rest of the house is being done if possible. Seperate light switch(s) for the room at the door you will mostly be entering the space through.
