Has anyone purchased canvas paintings / prints from Lightinthebox?
Wondering if they arrive undamaged and are they good quality?
They have some beautiful looking designs that will look great on our walls... But just a little cautious buying online.

Re: Paintings / Prints from Lightinthebox? 3Jun 04, 2015 9:12 pm I wanted to do the same but a bit cautious of the bad reviews so bought lots of canvas paintings in bali instead! You get to see them in person, can order custom if you have a photo of what you want or can explain what you want. They are cheap!! I ended up buying 5 last week and they rolled them up and packaged them all up to be taken on the plane without getting damaged. Just need to frame them up now Re: Paintings / Prints from Lightinthebox? 4Jun 05, 2015 6:35 am Hmm cost of painting + cost of plane fair = too expensive for me lol. One day (read in about 30 years lol ) i might enjoy a holiday haha Cheers, Paul (& Lisa) Parkhill 36 by ClarendonHomes in Coomera Retreat H1 Build Thread And Blog Building Blogs List - Go Ahead And Add Yours!! Re: Paintings / Prints from Lightinthebox? 5Jun 05, 2015 10:45 am I've bought a couple of them and they are gorgeous in real life. They came well packaged about 4 weeks after ordering them. When I have better internet access, I'll post a picture. Re: Paintings / Prints from Lightinthebox? 6Jun 05, 2015 12:03 pm It was actually cheaper with the airfare and accommodation than buying from aussie online stores. Found one that I was going to order from as it was safe but it was 300 plus for a smallish canvas. I got 5 for 320 including a massive 2m x 1.5m. I could have bargained cheaper but was pretty happy! Lightinthebox deletes negative feedback...look at other sites for reviews instead of just their website. Maybe just order one as a test? I ordered something from miniinthebox which is the same sort of thing. ..yet to receive item lol was only $15 so not fussed but I'll never use again. Re: Paintings / Prints from Lightinthebox? 7Jun 05, 2015 12:37 pm Yeah might just "test the waters" with a smaller order lol Cheers, Paul (& Lisa) Parkhill 36 by ClarendonHomes in Coomera Retreat H1 Build Thread And Blog Building Blogs List - Go Ahead And Add Yours!! Re: Paintings / Prints from Lightinthebox? 8Jun 06, 2015 11:37 am This is one I ordered, http://www.lightinthebox.com/hand-painted-oil-painting-abstract-floral-1303-ab0415_p532116.html and in DD's room : Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Paintings / Prints from Lightinthebox? 9Jun 07, 2015 8:02 am That looks great mrsmel. I'm going to give them a go with a large canvas print (multiple frames) that I want and see how that fares getting here. Re: Paintings / Prints from Lightinthebox? 10Jun 11, 2015 1:36 am I've bought quite a bit of stuff from them. Very good. Was thinking of getting prints from them. No hesitation from me. Re: Paintings / Prints from Lightinthebox? 11Jun 26, 2015 6:18 am Anyone else have any input? We're thinking of buying maybe 4 to 5 oil paintings to dress up the house.. but you're right that I should try one first and then go from there.. but I guess I'd like to hear about other people's experiences too first.. All the negative reviews I can see out there relate to delivery times, electronic equipment and dress sizes etc.. I can't find hardly anything on the oil paintings.. so that's why I am asking here for first hand reviews I can trust. Fantastic service, most items are on sale, so you might need to subscribe to their newsletter and wait for something to come up in your style. I dislike websites that force you to provide your personal details just to access the site. Can't access the temple and webster site without joining with facebook or email... ho hum.
