Hopefully our bank is quick with the commencement letter as we signed our souls over today. Then I can have exciting posts to share not just frustrated and angry ones. I hope the end product changes my mind about M or I may join you r2d2 with your idea Shell90 the ones we want are about $300 each plus whatever the delivery is, so just depends as I have to hear back to see how much postage is. Ours aren't on the website. Out of interest for past and present Villina/Fernleigh people what diameter did you go for re pendants over the bench. I'm thinking 3x 30cm as the ones we want come in 20, 30 and then 60cm Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 5065May 27, 2015 10:00 pm Mgardz your message came in whilst i was sitting admiring my pendants ... Instant pic ... They are 500mm wide at the widest point - just right i think in our case (2400mm wide island - 2440 due to our 40mm stone waterfall). 30cm would be just right i think for you ... 60 maybe a tad close???? Not for everyone! We are also moving them down a bit - trying to get the right height for them with a 3m ceiling is a work in progress! 2013 1st tender 24/10 Dep. 18/11 2014 5% 25/02 CDC approval 5/5 Demo 26/5 Pool 3/7 Valid'n 10/7 Slab 11/8 Frame 19/9 Bricks 23/10 2015 Roof 3/12 Lock up 11/2 PCI 31/3 Final insp. & keys 30/4 Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 5067May 27, 2015 11:05 pm Vilinaeliters I really like those. We wanted something different too our bench is 2480 widened off the fernleigh standard I think. Ours are different too I don't think everyone will like them and they are totally different to anything I posted or liked before! The Scandinavian designers have opened my mind. I don't want to post yet in case I jinx them as I hope shipping isn't ridiculous I agree with yours slightly lower maybe 10-15cm? Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 5068May 27, 2015 11:17 pm Bah more salt to the wound… packages with 2.7m ceiling heights and a ceiling height measured at a display home at 2.72m but ours… If M deprived me of 50mm less on our 3.1m tall ceiling I wouldn't bat an eyelid but it will seem more obvious with the shorter heights. Hopefully the taller doors will hide my disappointment. Thanks for the feedback Villinaeliters and R2D2 and GillyM. It sorta helps deal with the process a lot more. shell90 - Welcome back Expect ceiling to be out by at least 50-60mm. The tiles are 10mm thick, ceiling gyprock 10mm and screed 40mm. Closer to 2.6 than 2.7!! The response from M regarding the ceiling height involved saying that human error can occur. I get that as we're all humans and not perfect but then if I'm not getting what I paid then cough up and don't make a drama about it. Saying "therefore no further action to be taken with this issue" says a lot!!! Don't think we'll see a cent When do you anticipate being able to move into your house? Callie & Brooke1482 - Looking good there! MGardz - Good luck… hope the dunny arrives very soon. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 5070May 27, 2015 11:45 pm Those are so sleek r2d2! the 60cm ones we are looking at are a flatter shape too so it's so hard to choose but might come down to price Redwynne I'm busting to see the dunny lol Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 5071May 27, 2015 11:54 pm At $100 a pop they are not too terrible on the budget, and I have found a few very decent LED downlight options for arorund $18-25 each, and so far, best electrician quote is $35 per light installation, definitely beats M's $110/light plus $55 per installation (after already charging you for the extra point!) Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 5074May 28, 2015 8:11 am Ggml, we had the same issue. They plonked a garden tap on the front of our house, under the lounge window (ugly). I kicked up a massive stink, and even though they said it had to go there....in the end they moved to a more appropriate location. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 5076May 28, 2015 8:26 am MarkP, we used Ark for our plantation shutters (all windows except rear family room) and blinds on back room. We are very happy with the work they did. Had a couple of issues, which they fixed immediately, with no fuss. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 5077May 28, 2015 8:39 am We have used Ark too, yet to see the finished product, but were great about measuring - I met their person on site and he spent an hour brainstorming with me and going over options for how to fit blinds over retractable flyscreens, and took double measurements (Face and reveal) in case I change my mind. Re: Masterton Homes - The next thread 4.0 5078May 28, 2015 9:12 am redwynne Brettbert - All upgrades possible or electrical? I it was for a lot of things. I'm up to electrical but I have friends who are just starting and that's why I'm after the list. Do you have an electrical one? I was looking at the $1000 price tags hehe! Yes Redwynne most definitely closer to 2600! Exactly, 100% agree re coughing up the refund! I'm hoping August at the latest! 100 day countdown takes me just into September so I think we should most definitely be in by then!
