If it doesn't already have anticon on it, then install some, even if it means taking the sheeting off then reinstalling it. After that put some timber up so that you leave around 75mm (or more) gap between the anticon and sheeting you put up there, and add some R2.0 batts in between (or if you make a larger gap, you can put in higher R rated batts. Re: Lining and insulating a shed 11May 28, 2015 11:27 pm Hi all, I am going to start with the lining of my shed walls this weekend, really excited. Decided to go with 7mm ply, attached to the existing frame, which consists of 3 horizontal beams. The biggest panel of ply will only be 1700mm(length) and about 1000(height). They will be fastened along the lengths. I will be putting R 4 insulation wool between the shed walls and the ply lining. Do I need to put some sort of moisture barrier between the shed walls and insulation wool (to prevent potential mould)? The trades guys at bunnings said I should use some sort of foil looking lining, which would be attached to shed walls with liquid nails or tape? Is that definitely needed? Also, any concerns or tips with the above before I start? I plan to do the roof in the coming weeks, just need to do some more research. I ended up using vertical Zinc celing battens space about 50cm apart, with foil sarking and insulation batts. I am just about finished the wall with the door and hope to complete the final wall (with window) this weekend. Once thats done, ill do the roof (foil board) and floors.
